street semi truck pulls

Nope not at all, I would have put them on youtube myself, but when I started putting them up I couldn't ever get it to accept them, so I just went with photobucket.
 
Is that blue International Hume Supply's (Daven Stedke) If so my old room mate is the one that does alot of work to it. Its got a 3406 with a quite a bit of work done to it and I believe they still use it in the off season. Ill give him a call I just talked to him yesterday. They have an old v8 Mack they use too called the punisher.

Yeah that's it, the drivers name is Pat Altenbach(sp?). It has a 3406E in it, and according to him they pulled it off the road last year, now it gets trailered everywhere.
 
I'm not hugely into pulling but Its getting more fun to watch as I learn.. These Big trucks or cool as heck to watch.. That's some Major Torque right there!!

ya I thought thats what they did. I know a few years ago they where pulling his CR or a 70s BB Ford gas truck on a little 30 footer with it to the pulls. TJ Holtz is my old room mate hes Humes mechanic.

Im glad I saw this thread! I have always wanted to make a pull at our local fair with it, just didnt know who to ask for pointers.

The truck is a 85 GMC general with a big cam 400 with a 13spd. It was orginally a Allison auto truck, and it still has 2 speed rear ends.

What gear do you guys think I could pull in?? With the rears in low, it will only run about 55 mph down high way. The motor is fresh and strong, but stock.

I figured with the rears in low, it would be fine in 4th or 5th maybe. What do guys that pull semis think??

The blue Freightliner is the only truck they don't use everyday all the other trucks are the trucks they run their business with.

lol that first one was cool, the red flag waiving and he just kept on truckin..
 
Yeah it was fun to watch that one. They accused him of cheating on the first pull and he actually took it easy on the other trucks, so he figured hed show them what the truck can really do.
