Oh, it happened, bad feeling when you get out of the throttle and it doesn't slow down. It didn't throw a rod blew the head gasket and ran out of oil. Died a rattling death. First time I've got on it since the last head gasket. Just got it running monday.

Wow, you got some bad luck man!

Had mine stick a plunger while free reving 3500+ because my lift pump cut out. Luckily mine had a better ending then yours.

Yes, this truck has been nothing but bad luck. I think it's going to get either sold the way it is or going back to single 351 turbo and about 400 horse. Can't decide, I've got enough parts to build a new motor if I get a piston kit. I know where a ve motor can be bought fairly cheap maybe. It ain't getting anything soon, absolutely sick of working on it.

nope, I shut the key off and got the hood up to see the shut off solenoid was off. A few seconds later it rattled to a stop. I'm going to pull the head hopefully the block pistons and upper end aren't hurt. I've got a spare block that needs bored unless I could come up with a good short block.

F GARY!!!! im so sorry for your bad luck.. it will end buddy.. you might have to just take a step back for a second..

Thanks Adam but it's all self induced, no one to blame but myself. I know I'm going back with a lot calmer horse power level when it's running again. I'm not going to look for high boost number anymore. I think I will keep the twins on it and shoot for around 50 to 55 lbs. max. That seems to be a number they will live at.
