Swoled my block

Made zero noise. It was a small vibration and tell you the truth I thought it was either a flex plate or tire going bad. Never thought a rod was the problem but soon as it let go I knew what it was lol

Was this a rebuilt motor or a factory shortblock? Either way as George St. Pierre would say: I am impressed by your performance! :hehe:

Was a rebuilt motor that had 275k on it lol. Didn't feel like building it right the first time since the motor was running fine haha. Actually i was just being flat ass lazy lol. New one is done right

Means you aren't trying hard enough.

Define hard enough please. Because I overheated it 3 times to the point of a rod bearing failure that made the piston start slapping the head, then throwing 5k rpm at it at TWO different pulls since it didn't blow up at the first pull, then spraying the piss out of it with nitrous until I melted holes in the pistons and locked the motor up tight.

And what else am I suppose to do?

Lee, sounds like you need to add Meth, Propane, and some *nx*.

Two stages of open -4 nitrous line into the motor isn't enough eh? Ill try more next time, because obviously I am a *****.

Is the piston stuck in the bore above the broken rod? Curious if the piston seized and the crank kept turning and pulled the rod apart?

nope. we popped the piston out and it looks great. absolutely no oiling problems. nothing looks to have tried to siez. kind of a freak deal if you ask me.

What can I say but,

Nitromethane and c4.

Maybe just a bad forging from the get go with some sort of inclusions that eventually cracked and lead to the rod separation after several million cycles of compression and tension?

Man I'm proud of that job LOL , but it does suck that happen for you man. I'm sorry. I certainly understand your pain!

That is Swole approved!

If greg and david joined forces, this would be the result.

I pooped today!!!!!
