Tampico, IN truck pull June 20th

payout sucks, 100, 75,50, 25

The only reason this pull exists is to be a fund raiser for the fire departement. Not to see how much they can pay the pullers. ya gotta keep that in mind.

I as a puller would love to see big payouts. but it is a fund raiser.

I hope to get some sponsors/donations for next years payouts in the diesel pickup classes as well as being in charge of all rules and tech..

so we should all leave our weights at home? i could carless how much payout is for this pull. i just come for a good time.

They wont be allowing them this year. Im tellin ya.

But if people raise holy hell with the guys it only makes them more narrow minded toward the diesel trucks.

They believe these diesels should be all street driven since its a street class.. "you dont see trucks driving around with weights and a hood stack on hwy 50 do ya" is what i was told..

So i believe if we all just pull and have fun to their rules this year i think i can get us a 2.6 and an Open diesel class.. The guys said if they agree to it though they want nothing to do with tech, it was going to be all me..

So ill probably be enlisting Justin Williams to help with tech and a few other friends to help organize trucks in the pits and assist with tech as well

Something else I want to add to this. There is reason why pullers feel the way they do about diesel trucks. When trucks are allowed in the pits you always got some dumbass running around in the pits blowing smoke acting like an idiot. Even last year you had people after they got done pulling fly off the track like a dragstrip then slam on the brakes to get it shut down from running into the crowd. I know I'm just waisting air because most the jackasses doing it are too dumb to read....but everybody needs to realize to show some respect and safety for everybody.

what time or some of ya guys heading down there?...........what pulls are on friday night?..the big boys?.....o ya and diesel power mag is supposed to be there to on sat.

Im with ya on that Mason! Ive been guilty of it before but we do need to watch how we act.. it only makes it worse for us. at any event

Young Dumb and full of *** doesnt always work the best..

Safety First. There are way too many kids and family members at this event in tight spaces to be acting wild.

i hope i draw an early number cuz i dont wanna be waiting in line for over an hour again like last year.

is that track usually hard or soft? what gear do you pull in bryan? last year i thought it was kinda of hard.

Looks like I need to find a place to sleep that night....5 hour drive does not sounds like fun after a late pull!

I agree with ya MAson/Bryan. It seems to be getting worst as the sport expands. :bang

I really like your idea Prewitt. I've seen some good runnin stock Dmax's that would whoop some VP 2.6 trucks. I think if you cant make 2.6 plug then your in the open class. Only other thing I would do would be no Spray.:nos:

$.02

If you get it next year Bryan let me know if you need any help. I have a couple of plugs already made up.

Bryan,
As always I am ready to help with the pull if needed.

As to what CoalTrain/Mason says; Yup everyone needs to behave themselves in the pits. We don't want anyone getting run over or hurt over something stupid.
Most drivers/pullers are safe but every once in a while you get a couple of jackasses who think they need to show off.

You want me to take care of the bad seeds in the pits? Thats easy! Nothing like a couple of 400lb farm boys!

The track is either mud when wet or pure biting tacky dirt when its a good track.. its a pure power track when they can make a good one.

what air pressure is everyone running and what gear if your pulling a 6spd cummins?
