For those installing one of these at home check the length on the transfer case input before installing. I took off a little over a half inch with a die grinder. The transfer case input was noticeably longer than the stock 23 spline . But the splines on the billet output seemed longer so I thought I was ok. Wrong! I called TCS and they said it should be a drop in replacement.

The o.d. on the input is fine. I would have had a Machine shop cut it down if I had known. I bent 3 snap rings taking the transfer case apart. As long as the 29 spline input is as long as the stocker you should be fine.

We should call you ole' machine hands... that's a nice cut for free-hand with an angle grinder and metal cut-off wheel!!!
