The Interceptor was Dyno'd today!! 766HP

We were in such a big hurry to get Jeff back on the road we didn't even take time to hook up the rpm deal that you need to compute the TQ....

I'm just going to assume that it's somewhere near 1400 or so......I could be wrong but tipically its almost twice the HP....


The dyno is cool and all but when I finally get it down the track and can put the calulator to it, I'll know all I need to know then!!!

If the calculator is correct, I should see somewhere in the 11.60-11.70 @ 114-116 mph range....

A few real consistant runs down the quarter will tell the real story....

I actually dyno'd the same power with my 05 CR. At that power level, I ran an 11.6@120mph with a 1.55 60'. My mph seems higher that I would expect for the ET, not sure why. I only had time for a few passes last year before the track closed.

I just pulled out my nozzles and installed another set to test. <plug>(nozzles are for sale if anyone wants them) </plug>

I'm also cleaning the fuel up with the Smarty custom race program and an MP8 cranked all the way up. At the track and dyno, I ran on level 9, low timing, 2 on the RP, and no torque management. I cranked the MP8 up all the way. I didn't check my RP on the pass, too busy watching everything else.
 
The Rattle!!

Good numbers! Nothing like getting back into the truck after being down for so long.


What is the 'rattle' problem? timing/pressure/....?



Still not really sure....I went to GENO's today but they were totally out of RP gauge's!!! :bang


Don M thinks it might be that the lower RPM pressure is too high!!!

Jeff put it on his scanner ( I still had my MP8 hooked up but it was all the way off) and my Idle psi was 8200-8400......I've heard that's too high!!!

This is the bad part....Wether it's doing damage or not ( I don't think so..Jeff's not worried about it at all), It really makes me NOT want to drive my truck!!! :doh:

When it gets to operating temp, It's pretty dang loud inside and outside the truck....embarrasing!!

It make's it sound like a hunk of chit, not a superbad 750+ HP truck that can hand out a$$whoopin's.......

We've gotta find something that'll help!!

Sweet man!!! Is that a Quad Cab 05 with those numbers???

Well, not really a Store per say....It's in an Industrial Park...Mostly Office space and a warehouse...But they do accept walk-ins...At least they allow me to......I met Scott down at Garmon's one day and he or Brandon usally let me drive up and get what I need....

I've gotta go back tommorow again....I got the wrong FASS filter....He thought I had 95/95 when I told him that I need a filler for my 95gph pump....I've gotta swap it for the 150 size filter....

Hoping they get the pricol Optix RP gauge in soon!! I need to figure out whats up with this rattle..
