This is getting into my pocket!!!!!!!

Man that sucks bad, you have replaced every sensor on that motor haven't you? What happen to the "Mechanical" thoughts on the problem. It cuts out all the time doesn't

I would just take it some where that knows 24v's well, play dumb, and tell them your truck sounds like it is missing at a certain rpm

if it started after you in stalled the cam i wouldn't spend any more money until you check the cam who know you could have wiped a lobe off the cam or bent a push rod and the valve isn't opening correctly

thats funny right now. I know of about 3 people that know 24valves that are in texas. And they are me, JaMan, and ISBHack. Its not like i am a 1st grader trying to figure out how to color inside the line.

I have talked to everyone i even remotely feel like knows a good deal about these trucks and everyone is baffled and lost. Everthing they say to check out is new on the truck.

I think you are gonna have to tear it down. You've covered the basics by far.

If it were me, I would have to find the problem before p-pumping it. I had a customer that was having issues with his truck. He wanted me to listen to it and tell him what was wrong. I did and told him what I thought, but he did not want to bring it to my shop to fully diagnose it. He decided it had to be either the VP, or something electrical so he spent $$$$$$$$ on a p-pump and conversion. I tried to get him to let me diagnose it to find the problem before I put on the p-7100. He said he was not spending any more money on it. I told him we may have to figgure out the problem after the conversion. After the conversion was done, it still did it - only alot worse.

I have not read all your problems, but I hate to see someone give up on a problem and answer it with a P-7100.

doing a swap is absolutely the last thing in my mind but i dont know what else to do other than check out the cam. The guy that put the cam has been a mechanic for 40plus years built hundreds of engines and is one of holt cat top mechanics. I just dont think its on his end. Either i have something wrong with the actual cam or the tone ring on the back of the gear is messed up.

i would be checking that thing out first before doing a swap or dropping another dime. like i said if you changed you cam and springs you could have a bent push rod.

I mentioned that to him before, he checked them. I think its the cam.

yeah the push rods were fine when i checked them last. and i have had two sets of springs on there too. Piers and HD springs did it with both sets.

i would check the cam to make sure it is not maybe a tooth off or something even the best mechanic in the world can make mistakes sometimes

thats the only thing i think it can be. If i have bad compression i really dont think i could make 590hp unless i have that much more in the set up.
