This is getting into my pocket!!!!!!!

maybe i do have bad compression or something and if it were fixed i might have a 650hp or better truck. :hehe:

pull the cam and check it a tooth off or wiped lobe you never know you have been throwing parts at it with out checking out current setup first.

i have changed everthing i have added on the truck other than the cam and tranny.

You don't have to pull the cam. You can check cam timing to see if it is a tooth off. If the cam has a flat lobe then you would have noticed that when a rocker arm went loose. The push rods can be spun in the engine to see if one is bent. Also if the cam was a tooth off it would throw a code.

from about 10 of the people i have talked to they actually said that if the cam is a tooth off it wont throw a code yet it will keep the timing at the same point in the ecm yet it will be off on the mechanical end. So the injection pulse will the way out of specs.

Well that could easily be the problem then. If the installer needed to turn the cam to alter cam timing then he may have set it in a tooth off for the best cam timing.

at work i havent used a front gasket yet nice even layer of silicon works good. but it can leak that way if it isnt all kosher.
