who has one? do you like it? hows spool time, boost psi, etc. any info on this turbo would be appreciated. thanks:charger:

I've ran one for 3 yrs. its a great turbo. easy to spool, very streetable. just took it off and went with a 2.6 turbonetics. If this 2.6 does OK, i probably will sell my A4000, But mine is off a LB7 Duramax

kinda like comparing apples to squash there. I dont know what size the 4000 is, but im thinking its around a 64.

basic rule is, if ats sells it, someone else does too, for less money.

Don't know how true this statement is but I have heard they don't have bushing for the shaft to float on. Idk?

unfortunately i dont know what turbo it is, if someone can post that up, we can go from there.

the a3000 is an s300g, and the 5000 is a k31. if i were to guess the 4000 is a s364, but its completely a guess.

thanks for the info. i got one sitting in my garage, im just not sure i even want to put it on.

Might be a little laggy for Castle Rock, but you'll get used to it. I run a 66 out here and have got it tuned pretty good, but something a little smaller would be better.

now i have an a3k. it has a .85a/r housing. the a4k has the same exhaust housing? cummins12v, how heavy is heavy? would the larger compressor wheel make for slower spool, even if the exhaust side is the same?

they (over) rate the 57 at 61lb/min. the s300 64 wheel is rated at 70lb/min

thats just the compressor wheel though, the s300g is good for 450-500 horse, and a 64, 600 or so.

i made 504hp with the 57mm. should i need to upgrade my injectors from 100hp to 150 or 200 to use this a4k?

504 hp with a s300g and 100's seems a little high. but 150's or 200swould be good w/ the 4000
