Run them in a 36-15.50x16 config with 16x14 wide rims. Man up and do it.

I kinda want to get down the track not scatter drivetrain parts across it!

i would not run them on the road they round over realy quick loosing there edge, had them did not even last a summer, i have the Hankook Dynapro M/T now they seem to be wearing nice

I wonder if your IFS has something to do with that because the Courser C/T was the first tire I ever found that would last longer than 1 year on a CTD. I had a set of 315's on my 97 Dodge Club Cab that lasted 2 years daily driving, towing, and sled pulling. :rockwoot:

On a `99 CTD with an auto what`s the best size tire for sled pulling? 4:10 gears. 33 or 35 height?

I found some Nankang M/T 305/70/16 for $145 a tire. Anyone have any dealings with them. They look exactly like Mastercraft Courser M/T. We pull in red clay and at night so the track has moisture in it. I seen where alot of people say that Super Swamper SST doesn't do good in wet clay. This is mainly a pulling truck/secondary truck.

Grainfarmer I would go with 33's since you have 4:10. that is what most everyone runs and it is not as harsh on your drivetrainan. Don't run 35's unless you have alot of hp. I am running 35's with only 15% tread and it takes alot of power out of the truck still.

I ran FC-II's a few years ago, the only thing I can say for certain is they bite better the a pro-comp m/t or extreme m/t. A lot has changed since then. I'm heavily considering buying a set in a few weeks.

I was actually looking at the Fun Country II's before I bought these STS's. As much as I drive on the street I wish i would of went a different route.

I got a set of sts's 2 weeks ago, probably gonna buy a set of fc-II's for the street since I've got 2 sets of wheels. First set lasted 40,000 miles, not easy miles either.

Im going to try the Dynapro M/T's this year for a pulling tire so we will see what happens!

where did you find a price for Mastercraft tires at couldnt find a web site that carried them thanks

im going to try 33x12.50x17 truxs M/T for next year but i still have the kumho road venture A/T to put back on if need be.

:rockwoot:The courser C/T are the best all around street/pullin tire I have seen. I ran them for three seasons and put 30,000 miles on them and still could get hooked :snoop:to the track!
