Tire Choice.

Radial here also I have put over 40k miles on mine and still have tread left but are starting to cup. I'm probably gonna run them til next season and get another set they didn't wear as bad as everyone said they would.

You have ran the STS for 40k? If so how do they pull now compared to new?

well this was my last season with them and they did decent but not loike when they are new. From what i am seeing buy them at the bigginning of one year run them through winter then run them next year yhrm through the winter then gor for a new set but thats with my driving. You can get 50,000 out of these things in the right condiotion.

You drive like a *****. 2500 rpms is all that truck sees with you in the drivers seat. LOL

As Anthony said I don't drive this truck like I stole it either except one day Anthony had to drive my truck to a pull and tore the crap out of it. These tires I was extra careful not to spin them on the street. When I get rid of these tires they will probably have close to 50k on them. Theres no way I can get another season out of them like I said will buy new ones next spring. The picture of me hooking below the STS's had around 30k on them as you can see they are hooking well but defiantly not as good as brand new.

Good to here Kman! I am looking at STS's and was looking for some feed back! I just hate the hateful high price they want...maybe we all need to do some sort of group buy thing!

i went to buy a set about 4 to 5 weeks ago and they was on back order, so i just got the truxs m/t wish i had waited to get the sts from the sounds of it.

Yeah, I just checked at the local tire shop ($356ea.)and they are still on back order...they said they would be able to have them in 4-5 weeks which is no big deal for me since my truck only comes out in pulling season.

Seriously i paid 850 dollars for them to be shipped to my house but this was I guess 2 years ago. I thought I would onlt get 30k miles out of them but they defiantly impressed me and they are awesome on tracks around here. I'm going with them again in the future but they do suck in mud they don't clean out well at all just get balled up.

Thanks for the input I have wanted to put them on my dually and be able to DD but thought they wouldnt last. The STS trxus has been on back order for awhile. I looked at getting a set just over a year ago and they were on backorder then so I went with ATZ'S.

i ran the cooper stt's this year and i liked how they worked for me. imo better than the terra grapplers i ran before.

I ran the bfg's this year but I am going to run the courser c/t's next year. The bfg's just don't clean out very well if the track is real tacky or a little muddy
