Tow twin pics and questions

Rollin Coal what fittings did you use for oil lines?

They look great!

everything is -10AN, i got the turbo drain adapters from a local shop, they convert it to 1/2 pipe, then 1/2" pipe to -10's

the block side i welded steel -10 fittings to the press in pieces.

what was each turbo making? Id also be very interested to see what drive pressure is up there in boost.

other drain is the same way into the other plug in the block.

the primarys wastegate about 42, so the hy is making about 35, but ill be dropping it down to 65-70psi

ill get a DP guage on there, but i dont know when.

the HY seems VERY efficent, with the waste gate unhooked on it, i make 42psi, which is exactly what the 66 made as a single.

Wow, that's alot of boost! I set my wastegate on the top turbo at 28 to 30. It was 18 to 20 when I built it and I think since I got everything working right I'm going to start back down on the top turbo. I'd like to make the big turbo work as hard as it needs to and still keep a cool air charge.
Do you have a pressure gauge between the two turbos? It would be interesting to get a actual reading of the first stage of boost and the exhaust pressure.
I'm guessing spoolup is instant? What kind of boost are building at say 1700 rpm's on the road? Keep us informed on this setup.

itll build 10 lbs of boost just sittin in neutral if i rev it. get on it, even a little, its at 40psi.

oh, and no gauge between the turbos, the primarys gate opens at 42 psi, so ive been going off that.

did you get that nv4500 in already? or are you still using the auto?

congrats on getting it going! looks like you proved lots of people wrong, unless you drive pressure is sky high.

i wonder why my twins dont make that much boost.

ill get a drive pressure gauge as soon as i can swing it. by the time im done buying copper line and what not, its going to be a $100 deal

i dunno why you cant make that much, prolly cuz i have like 2x the fuel you do.

my 66 made 65psi as a single, and i still could have closed the wastegate more.

if you get a sun pro 100psi oil pressure gauge for $16 bucks from autozone, then $5 for 10ft of copper from lowes. under $30 bucks for me.

i had 240hp injectors, tst comp,ts mvp, that should be plenty fuel for 70-80psi.

wheres all your extra fuel coming from?

my injectors started as 250 nozzles and once i put my modded vp in i was still blowing gray at 65psi

got bored, took a junk pump apart, was talking w/ another person who did a little work to his.

so far i love it.

the only thing that blows is when the lines suck air, but the stupid vp did that b4 i modded it.
