Tow twin pics and questions

im thinking about bringing THIS truck back to stock, to put a cummins in a dakota with these parts on it.

I knew that turbo setup would be an extreme setup for towing (with an intercooler). With having that much power so low in the RPMs, I wonder how hard it would be on the drivetrain?

Would absolutely rock in a 2wd, reg cab short bed conversion.:rockwoot:

you have arlready got that truck built.....why not make it in to a short bed and build something else for a DD?

the only thing i think i want to do is put a 16cm housing on the s366, non gated, but i cant find one.

ok, i got the drive pressure gauge installed today, with very impressive results.

i have my edge set to level 1 now (low end fueling on 5) and holding at steady 60-61psi of boost measured at the grid heater spacer. 25-26psi measured at the primary turbos compressor outlet. Drive pressure was fluttering at 62-66psi (which i think is due to the stupid drive pressure spring wastegate on the hy35). But being ~6psi over boost im very very pleased.

dang you proved everyone wrong about that hy. tons of people probably would have used the hy in a twin setup but they were told other wise.

the internet is very powerful:bow:

zstoken has a 16ss housing.

yes, i did alot of reading, not only on compounds on cummins, and what works well, but also on how compounds actually work, which, most people know what they do, but not HOW they do it. after looking at compressor maps, i was pretty sure it would work with decent results. I didnt expect them to be this good.

is zstoken housing nongated? I dont want to spend $500+ for a housing, when i can get a 66/73/15 none gated new for $600

not sure on the housing, yeah $500 is a lot.

i still plan on calling you about that intake.

yeah, give me a call, i might just sell you mine, im thinking about buying another jeep, throwing a set of air bags and the 5th wheel back in the bed and putting an intercooler back in making her a tow pig.
