Thank you! It turned out great! We used the newer Dupont water based paint. The guy who painted it said if he did whole job start to finish it would have been over $8500. We stripped everything off of it and sand blasted and painted the frame ant tanks with Dupont Emron black to hold rocks or debris... My brother did most of the sanding and wet sanding to save on labor and the hood required a fee spots of fiberglass repair.

Now I just need to figure out how to get 850 HP from that 3406b, I'll be stoked. Need more fuel, if anyone has any tips and tricks feel free to PM me.

Can you just be a paccar guy? That's what I am I like both kenworth sand Petes I have one of each

I love that truck too, looks damn good!
Thanks! Its got a 40BCIII in the rails right now but could be seeing a 3408 sitting in it by next spring if the deal I'm working on goes through ?
:drool1: Your truck is so badass. Could you make a walk around video showing the interior and how the exhaust sounds and all that good stuff?
Its got mufflers in the spools so its not LOUD, but the ol girl does have a nice throaty tone to it. I've gotta finish the wood floor and put the interior back together with new seats, then I'll do a video of it. ?

Here's a few interior pics for now.

Only thing not shown is I took the huge cargo ship steering wheel out and put in an 18" wood wheel

I got this old girl also recently. Got it cheap considering maccalister cat just rebuilt the engine 2 years ago and less then 20k miles ago. 85 359 short hood, 13 speed, 3406b even has really nice BF Goodrich virgin rubber. Even has a dual line wet kit and the AC blows cold. It just needs some minor things fixed and a bath and it will be nice. It's going to be my spare for the other 2 trucks and probably do some work on the fall with it.

You need a Bosch pump.

I don't think 850 hp to the fly wheel is out of the question with with a Cat pump and Cat injectors.

My dad did 500 hp to the wheels with his 3407C with weak stock 425 Cat injectors, a Borg Warner stock replacement turbo, 3/4 a hole of timing and 3 1/2 turns of of fuel. Figuring 25% driveline loss and that's 600 hp to the flywheel. He's since put 25% over injectors, a Borg Warner billet S475 and still 3 1/2 turns of fuel. He says it has way more power than when it was on the Dyno 2 years ago.

My dad also has a 3406B in his puller. It has never been on the Dyno but it's a very strong engine. Hoping to get it on the Dyno this spring. That engine has 100% over injectors, full hole of timing and many different turbos from a stock Cat to a Holset HC5a.

Depending on what your doing with it I believe 850 hp at the fly wheel is achievable with a Cat pump and Cat injectors. That's 635 hp to the wheels.
