Sharp truck! Why don't you get to keep it?


Well... When I had given my word to the guy with the blue 387 that I would drive for him and we needed 2-3 weeks for stuff to clear... About 2 days after I said yea I'll take the job... The guy with this red truck got ahold of me and wanted me to come drive the red one and it woulda been mine. However I had already given my word and wasn't gonna back out on it and he understood that. While I went to work for the other guy he put a driver in it. Drivers wife had enough of him being gone and he quit. The red truck became boss mans again and he deemed it "his" and he wasn't putting anyone else in it.
While I drive it for a month or so he is shopping for me one. Then he's getting back in it. Im tryin real hard like to get to keep this one but I don't think he's having it.

And obviously... I quit the 387 job. Guy who was kind of a friend and kind of not, ended up being a Lyin, cheating, refuse to fix the truck, and we got cross ways a couple times and after he went off on me for no reason, I lost my temper and decided I was out. Then his girlfriend went off on me, me and him got into it pretty good over the phone and I quit.

Took a week to weight my options and ended up going to work for this guy after all.
 
Jeez son you change jobs like I do underwear. Haha


Not something I like. Each one has had valid reasons. I didn't wanna leave the dump truck really but it's too seasonal. I still talk to the guy who runs that on a regular basis.
The last one, well I'm not much for getting cheated.
 
That's a pretty sexy truck you're ridin there. What's the specs on it? Not too many opportunities to drive a company truck that's that sharp.

It's extremely nice. I honestly didn't think I'd like actually driving it but I fell in love most instantly.
 
As a truck owner I can see where he's coming from. I don't like people to drive my Pete either


Oh it's not that I don't see where he's coming from. I wouldn't let my own dad drive that truck if it was mine. That's why I treat it with the utmost respect and keep it clean at all times.

That's why when I make it to own my own truck, it'll stop at one. I could never trust anyone with my truck. That's why I don't take things for granted when people trust me with theirs.
 
My sweet new rig. Not really I was going to part it out originally pull the transmission for my 99 Pete I had. A farmer bought the 99 for what I paid for it so I didn't end up putting the 13 speed in it. This KW just needed put back together so I did that and have been running it. I don't have much money in it and I'll run it through the winter then send it down the road. It's an 03 with a 13 speed, 12.7 Detroit 500hp, 3.55 eaton rears. I can tell you this Detroit is gutless. It's set at 500hp and gets 30 psi boost. It runs good and does decent on the highway but the normal run I do has a ton of hills and stop go. I've been told doing something with the return fitting in the head and a few other things. I guess my Pete just spoils me.
