Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Oh it's not that I don't see where he's coming from. I wouldn't let my own dad drive that truck if it was mine. That's why I treat it with the utmost respect and keep it clean at all times.

That's why when I make it to own my own truck, it'll stop at one. I could never trust anyone with my truck. That's why I don't take things for granted when people trust me with theirs.

I've got 2 mainly out of necessity. I have a contract that they needed 8 loads a week that's a daily run that pays well. I couldn't do it with one so I have one guy that drives for me. Although if he keeps forgetting to bungee the rear of the tarps down on my dump trailers. I'm going to kill him.

Next year when I buy another truck I'm gonna go mid 90's to early 2000's, what I'd really like to find is a 2001-2004 W9L with a blown engine then rebuild it and put it to work. The reefer deal wasn't working so good with an old mechanical 359. But I will say, the mileage wasn't as bad as one would think.

Should have had a cat in it...

I would rather have a cat but like I said I bought it for parts and a buddy of mine that has a bunch of detroits was going to get the engine. I only wanted the transmission because it's a RTLO 167113 and my last Pete had a 10 speed. Well the other Pete a guy bought off me for more then I paid for it and I bought this 90 379 with a bada$$ B model in it. I'll probably sell it in the spring and buy something else with a cat. I'm just not a Detroit guy never have been. My run the B model gets better fuel mileage anyway because it's all 2 lane stop and go with a lot of hills.

Well I have had enough of the hot shot life. I'm just not cut out for the OTR life. I'm too much of a home body, and my family depends on me more since my dad passed away last fall. So I accepted a parts dept job at a local Tri Green equip store this week. I have a few things to fix on the F350 & the trailer over the next couple of weeks and then they will be up for sale. :rockwoot:

Yup went and took my drug test for the job Wednesday. My trailer needs a spindle repaired and then it will be up for sale. A friend of mine that has a family car lot is already interested in my trailer and just bought a 362 Pete this week. Ford needs a new tone ring so the odometer/speedometer works again it got damaged when the ring & pinion let loose a couple months ago i couldn't source once quick enough before it went back together.
