Truckers, lets see your rigs!

I didn't even look for those, the 5" is plenty for the elbow.

I was thinking for looks. Personal taste I'd rather have the reducer under the cab. But for the price difference I'd stick with the 5 inches.

Cody did that "A" smell like Old Spice and stale cigarettes inside when you bought it? Those old KW's just scream flannel shirts and unfiltered smokes when I see them. :hehe:

No, just smelled like used oil from the leaking hose in the dash. It fits the part though, plenty of empty cig packs on the floor.

Time for new shoes!!!

Hell, for that much a man could probably fab them up himself and have them chromed and be cheaper.

If you know of a place that chromes pieces let me know. I wanted to get a custom grill chromed and the place (don't remember the name) I called for a quote wanted $700!

I've looked at mine many of times thinking that it could be fabricated out of a couple 45 degree bends, but just haven't tried yet.

Yeah I think I found 5" chrome from Iowa 80 for that. But the 6" chromes are something ridiculous!

Depends on where you buy, the brand and what you need. For the standard radius 16" leg id/od chrome elbows from Dynaflex its $115 for 5" and $166 for 6". $283 if you want to go to stainless. The actual "Pickett" elbows are pricey at $300 ish.

I buy a lot of stuff through a localish chrome shop that actually is pretty popular online. "Big Rig Chrome Shop". Always seem to have decent prices overall. A lot of aftermarket exhaust stuff my KW dealer can get pretty reasonable surprisingly. I doubt they can get 8" pipes and such, but they've gotten me a lot of stacks and elbows at a better price than anyone else online or otherwise.

The elbow for an A model is a little more involved than just a long legged 90.

In Ohio any KW or Pete dealer can order anything from Lincoln Chrome, it was cheaper to ship from 4 states than to buy it local.

Man there's some nice trucks in this thread they put my beat up little FLD120 flat top to shame. Haven't got through all of the posts yet not seen any Ford L9000 Areomax's yet. I'm guessing wasn't too many built with the 77" Skyliner bunks.

I have found dirt in the radiator shroud on the K100, that takes a little more work to accomplish that.
