Sounds like the company i used to work for. Wants everything to perform perfect, but not willing to do something out of the sop

He doesn’t give two chits. He’d have sold the truck if it wasn’t for me.
Therefore I gotta be reasonable.
However for what I’m after I don’t thing drop in is out of the norm. Now if I was wanting 850 and up or something, I can see where my request is a little retarded.

That would still only put me at roughly 5mpg at best. Lol

I’m still hauling these wheel covers in my trailer because I forget about them when I get home. I went from 4.43 to 4.45 between the last 2 tanks. I figure if I add air tabs and micro-blue my entire driveline I can save enough fuel in 5yrs to get a new pair of fingerless leather trucker gloves.

Gonna get my fuel bonus this quarter.

Think that's only going to apply if you add a turbo wing on top of your Cascadia as well!

So what’s taking so long with your truck? It takes :30 seconds to check fuel pressure and a few minutes to check for boost leaks.

Just went in the shop today. When I talked to him this morning, he wasn’t promising he could get to it today.

What was this fella concerned about with the fuel psi? Has anyone dynoed back to back with different psi ratings? Ive run pressure all over the board on everything from 40 pins to acerts, cant say my butt dyno ever registered a difference.

He wasn’t saying it was a problem. Said he just prefers to see more. This was before he’d even seen the truck as well.

The only time I've heard pressure mentioned, a guy was running the higher psi relief valve and said the engine was melting down on hills. He had up put a stock valve in it because he was skeered.
I found (Monday actually) where CAT published 52psi being the floor for emui injectors before they won't function properly.

On stock HP I don’t know how much matters but I know for a fact with high HP the SDP fuel pump is a bad mf’er. 1000hp truck can drag a stock MXS pump to like 60psi. But mine never drops below 100 above 1500rpm and is as high as 130psi at just high idle. And they’re the same price as every other pump. And it’s more than just the pump spring. Tried just moving that and it didn’t work.

He had stated I’m better running trucks that he builds, his trucks see 100-130lbs. Wonder if that’s what he’s doing as well.
