trucks going under the knife

Michigan metal works. i literally emailed this guy 15 min. ago and he got back to me right away....... unlike some other shops! just kidding scott he is also milling out my stock spindles for the chevy adapters for free http://michiganmetalworks.com/

heres the new lower control arms. also ordered new uppers so i wouldnt have to worry about moving my stock ones. instead of a rear pan hard bar im just going to go with a Watts link.

How low do you have to drop it before you need to c notch it? Like I'm at 3-4 inches lowered in the back right now and thinking about going 2 more all the way around when it's time for new tires. I found 2" drop springs for the front now just gotta figure out how to get the back down another 2 inches and keep a somewhat smooth ride. Suggestions?

De arch your springs or order new ones.
Shakles and hangers are good for about 4 inches.
Flip kits are good for about 5 inches.

very cool. I didn't even see this thread. when you weld those upper bag mounts in make sure you fully compress those bags so you will get max lift out of them. Just squish em down and put some plugs in em.

Love the sport front end too. I'm on the hunt for one myself.

i didnt even think about putting plugs in them. ive been trying to hold them down while measuring:nail::nail::bang
