because it's probably a different flange than an HX35

I can think of four different "4 inch v-band flanges" I've seen on dodge diesels... HX40, 3rd gen, full marmon, and Garrett...

all different...

again, I highly recomend you order from someone who will guarantee that it's a correct HX35 flange

As for the v band on the holset exh side..... Stainless 3" V-band flange, mates to SPECIAL 3" V-band flanged housings that has recessed lip at ID yes, no, maybe?
