Want to lower my 4x4 some experienced info please

I just put 2" lowering springs are in the front. Removed the block in the rear and had a local shop make some 4.5" shorter u bolts for about $45 with hardware. I have an adjustable 3rd gen track bar conversion and 1/2 longer control arms. Nothing is touching, but a lot of things are about 1/2"-1" away from each other and I'm 1/2" from the bumps tops. I'm getting the track bar shortened 1/2" and will get alignment checked to see what I need to do with the control arms

About to pull the trigger on a set of 305/50/20s. Can get Proxes 1s for $570 or 420s for $700... hmmmm

you lowered it 2" and are almost on the bump stops? You should have another 3" to go lol.

Going off of stock suspension...
Rear: Remove Blocks, You will Need Shorter U bolts and Shocks (2wd Shocks work well)
Front: Cut 1-1.5 Coils out of spring. I wouldn't go more as you will run into steering clearance issues.... and at this point you will probably be sitting on the bump stops.

This is what I did, but my front springs were already wore out so it only like a inch from the bump stops after I cut them in half. So I will be switching to 1500 4wd springs.

They were advertised as 2" drop, ended up dropping it more like 2.5" on the passenger and 3" on the driver side. It's about 1/2 -1"from the rubber bumpstops, I'll try to get a pic later. Front is about 1.5" lower than the the rear

As long as everything else clears when it's all said and done, I might try shorter bumpstops

We'll it looks like your stud is about to touch the tiered. I guess you'll cut it down?

The guys with the Standard cab long beds are you cutting the drive shaft down? Because when you remove the full 4.75" block I felt like mine was going to bind up so I lifted the truck back to stock.

Mine needed shortened 4" when all said and done. I drove a year at stock length though. Chewed up the rear seal in tcase some, but nothing terrible.

Holy hell I dont want to get into all that.

What did you do to get your truck to that height I'd be happy with stock front height and drop the rear to level it.

I really want to lower mine back down. I also want to get the 03+ track bar. Want to get the drive shaft cut to the right length. Then the qa1 adjustable shocks. I have a sent of 1500 springs but I might go to cutting 1 coil off instead.
