What are some of you running for water injection systems?

I know about the Snow, Cooling Mist, but what are you running that is bigger than these.

I have a individual runner intake and was wanting to inject it into each cylinder, I dont think those tiny pumps are enough.

Whats your thoughts.

Thanks
Adam

pm jerrodglover he has a pretty good setup that wont break that bank

get you a vane hydraulic pump, simpson water valve, and some lines, Max Simpson spinner nozzles...and wa la...your comparing men to boys with this system to Snows...

Is this truck something you want to Drive or Pull only? PM me your charger and fuel setup so I know how much water you need.

Does anyone make a electric pump that is capable of around at least 400psi?

Pull Only sometimes on the street. Scheid Lightning 20000 turbo, 13mm pump. Putting a IR intake on it so I want to put 6 nozzles.

Just because you have more nozzles doesn't mean your going to get more water. The amount of water is going to be the same just your dividing it out that many more times. Then you run into the problem of not getting nozzles that are that small and if you can they can get plugged that much easier.

I like the K.I.S.S method, Keep It Stupid Simple. Less things that can go wrong the better your going to be off in the long run.

XLR8R how much water do you want to spray? The pump will keep up if you size the nozzles appropriately.

What would you guys say would be good enough for a 04.5 CR with 120hp sticks and a Floor It 2 CP3, with a II Silver 62/14 huffer? I figured a Snow would be good enough, but then again........

Where can one find simpson valves and spinner nozzles?

Go to your local carwash and ask for one of their old supplier catalogs. Its real easy to put a system together when all the parts are in the same book...

Im curious as to why you are using spinner nozzles. They use a jet of water not a mist?

Didn't know a car wash used a Simpson valve :hehe:

Max Simpson Charlotte, Mich.

look thru old posts in racingjunk in the clasifides and there was a guy that had a simpson valve and nozzles for around $500 i think.also check pulloff.com.cant remember which

My buddy used a hydraulic lift gate pump unit for his water injection kit. He added water pump lube into the water, and I believe he used a sprayer nozzle that came out of a produce cooling unit. It worked great for the 4 years he pulled the truck. I want to do the same thing eventually.
