What about the mechanical h2o injection. The one that mount where the vacume pump is. Does anybody know what pump they use for this application?

You got any pictures of your system Jerrod? I was going to use a hydraulic power unit from like a snow plow, but I am cheap and try to find the cheapest way to do it right.

I've built a system using a Haldex hydro pump found on www.northerntool.com

Got mine through a dist. for $125.00 1K PSI regulated & hooked to 4 nozzles from John deere. $250.00 into the complete system becuase im using braided hose.

Wow thats cheap for the pump, I have only found them for like 300 bucks. You have the name of the distrubuter?

That is kind of what I want to do.

Well to keep this informative. What PSI and what kind of flow rate should be used, for a single charger 3 inch and a 13mm pump with 5x20 injectors about 4500 rpm

I found a deal on a Snow kit, probably has the 150psi pump though. I don't know if that would be enough for mine though.

It was a buddy buddy deal. I can see if I can get a few more ;)
The jd spinner nozzles can be found at any JD AG store that carries the spraying equipment. And I got the lines custom made locally but they are the same as whats sold on jegs.com

We got our Kit from Devils Own Injections for about 1/2 the price of a Snow kit & comes with a 250psi pump. :st:

XLR8R how much water do you want to spray? The pump will keep up if you size the nozzles appropriately.

The 12-runner manifold is currently set up with a set of nozzles that add up to ~7.5gph... hoping the Shurflo is enough to keep them from dribbling!

I actually found a pump like that for free off of a tommy lift. What about these nozzles: http://www.mcmaster.com/#spray-nozzles/=zmhi7

Those are similiar to the nozzles we spec - the micron rating & pump pressure overhead are crucial to good atomization.

So if I understand this right you would tap the inside of a nipple 1/8" NPT and the outside 1/4" NPT?
