What does "floating" the valves sound like?

i hope not, it's been fixed once already.

Mine sounded like it was right behind the dash on the drivers side. Was the same on the other trucks that i have replaced. Replaced two on my truck before i fire ringed it.

Sounds like a headgasket. I have heard a few do that.

x2....that was my first thought without actually hearing the noise.

I heard it on a 04.5 CR with 64 and s480 twins.
