What does he trigger with the headlight flash?

Yea thats what I meant, I dont blame you. The buck is less than an hour for me and i trailer it. Im not gonna be the guy sitting there waiting for 1-2 hours for someone to show up with a trailer if I break...its easier to haul it up there and haul it home.

I have the exact opposite problem. Out here everything is stock turbo, or I gotta run with the big boys class. few places have a hot street class for trucks that are modified but still street legal.

and for the record the only reason i dont daily drive my truck anymore is because I CHOOSE NOT TO, not because i cant. it tears my STS's up, and i admit im too lazy to switch tires every week. when pulling season is over, i will go back to driving it again when i put some other tires on it.

I wasn't saying your truck can't be street driven TJ, don't take me wrong. I don't try to be the puller police or anything, but I've been to pulls where I am hanging right with good running 2.8 trucks. Then the next pull has no techs & that same truck puts 60ft on me. That is when I started being a b---- about it. In our area, it gets out of hand when each pull has 40-60ft changes in distances. That my friend is far from "tuning" your truck to compete. LOL

Wow, y'all are a bunch of whiners. If the guy isn't winning who cares. If enough of you think he is cheating catch him at a pull and go up to him as a group with the tech and request an inspection. He might have something wired into the switch, or maybe not.

I know that this is coming from someone that is just a spectator in the truck pulling side of things, but I have pulled in the tractor side of things and can see where everyone is coming from as far as cheaters. This is why I suggest a group inspection. Be prepared to have yours inspected also. We used to have one tractor that would only show at pulls that did not do a real tech inspection, just asked you questions. A few guys figured this out and caught him at a "no tech" pull and pulled out their tech cards and had a field day with him. Naturally every tractor had to go through the same stringent tech that day, and he was not the only one that got caught with something illegal. Almost half the class was DQ'd; including the guy that started the whole uprising.

I would hate to see half of you pull in KY, OH, IN, MO any of the top truck states you would cry yourself to sleep at night :hehe:. Come on over and play in the stock class with Wes Doss :rockwoot:.

That is probably why no one wants to speak up, for fear of getting themselves in a bind.

I've seen that same thing you spoke of happen around here. A group gets together to tech a supposed cheater, they tech the full group so that they aren't just picking on one guy, and a couple more get in trouble.

My truck was teched and I did say something. So no I'm not whining and have nothing to fear from tech.

Get your junk out there, oh I forgot it's a dyno queer.

I guess the fact that I dyno the truck (for my own private tuning purposes) and then don't hide the results makes my truck a "dyno queer".

I guess I'll play the part and ask, does your "puller" make as much power as my "dyno queer" yet?

How is he turning off whatever he is turning on with the headlight flash? Does he do it at the end of the pull too?

He is activating a timer for a NOS setup:hehe:. Pulling the headlights on just tells the timer to start counting and the rest is controlled elsewhere. Just kidding ......I don't know what he is doing but why would he put something into his headlights so everyone could see he is activating something? I bet it is just a short or something weird?

Dennis you need to tell him how to do it right so everyone doesn't see it.

Robbin is a good Guy Hes having some wiring issues with the truck, not launching the space shuttle.

:doh:Sorry Travis.

It's a DODGE. The ECM is probably wiggin' out and turning on the highbeams, wipers, cigarrett lighter, and who knows what else at WOT. By the way, anyone got a spare ECM? I need one. :hehe:

P.S. I'm smart enought to know that the ECM isn't hooked to any of this stuff, but I was going for effect......after hitting "post" I could see the B.S. cummin. :D
