Yeah. That truck is definately the best running vp truck I've ever seen.

Hmm and the cleanest VP at that, must have that magic hi pressure pump
LOL

Eric I wouldnt go that low theres other gear combos thats not as steep , now if yr turing 4500 and up then mayb but with a mild combo mid 400 series is good

Yr poll doesnt list the gears I run and there both different

I think it has parellel turbos. I haven't seen a video do that truck justice. It has to be going 30mph ground speed or better down the track at some of the pulls.

I love my 5:13 gears and a 33" tire and fourth low. I just need a bigger pump now for some more rpms. I know since I put the gears in I have had 0 drive train problems not as much stress. That's what I thinks would be good todd

Curious what combo and numbers that truck puts down. It was very clean when i seen it run.

Actually 4.88's in 4th low will put me at almost an identical final drive ratio as 2nd high range with 4.10's. And its also a much stronger gear to run being in low range. I want to pull this tranny for rebuilds as little as possible next year. Plus I plan on spinning more R's next year as well.

well a 4.63 will put u there now , I have that in the rear and 4.56 up front

Oh not to mention I wanna stay on the low side of the T case. That stunt with trying 2nd Hi this year cost me a HG. :soap

Awww you wusss. I run the equivilant of 2nd High with 4.63s w/ 285/75 16 MTATZ+. Usually run any where from 24-28 mph depending on sled.

Ive seen a truck in ohio multiple times running 3.55's and 36's running 4th 4 lo......

2.6

I ran 4th low in my 5-speed with 35 and ran out of gear. It would 3500 all the way down the track. The p-pump trucks around here run 5:13's with 35 inch tires and 4th low in there 5-speeds. Those Pa tracks are no where near as tight as thise tracks around central ohio. I seen a vp truck run 5th low in his six speed with 3:55 's and hold 2700 rpms all the way and spin out. Depends on how much power u have in what u can do!

i run 33's 2nd high with a 5 speed 4:10 gears 2nd gear has stripped twice but it competes well my suggestion is stay on the low side with 4th low anybody have suggestions for me on gearing i want to run 4th low next year and run 33's what gears do i need to run with a 5 speed tranny

If you like the way it runs in 2nd high with 4.10's, go to 4.56's if you wanna run 4th low. They are almost the exact final drive ratio. With 33's final drive ratio with 4.10's is 12.46 and 4.56's is 12.36.
