What was up with the squealing turbo's at Scheid's?

More peak power can be made without an MWE, but it does just what it says. It is a Map Width Enhancement groove. It broadens the map. So now you look will you take peak HP at x rpm or take a little under peak and make that at x- thru x+. Sometimes the area under the curve might be better suited.

I've always wondered why rules usually limit the MWE groove to 1/8" or 1/4". If you were pushing the limits of a charger, you wouldn't have one at all....

They put limits on it, so someone can't redo it completely and say that is his MWE.
 
i believe i will agree with gainer on this the drive pressure on the turbo funny thing i think will d's truck made those high pitch noises after a trip to danville performance
