What's with the DHRA?

I can not believe that I am about to say this but I agree with 2tone on this.. I heard the same thing from the same guy on I am pretty sure the same night in the same state!!!

Kyle I really don't think it has anything to do with you, just the way some things are handled in my opinion.

Does it feel good to be on the correct side of an arguement haha

If youve got a question or a problem how about talking to one of us instead of getting on here and telling everyone how bad we are, anybody is free to PM me at 53 willy or email me at kyle@dhraonline.com,

I agree with this statement. Less that a year ago some people couldn't even figure out how to put on tie rod sleeves now they come on here and run their mouth about things they don't have a clue about. The pay out issue was handled in a professional manner and resoved behind the scenes, which is where it should be. DHRA was trying to resolve the floating finish by having a pull off because we (pullers) don't like when the sled slams us at 290' which breaks parts. A floating finish is fine as long as it's not 390'. We try to get the sled operator to stop us slowly to avoid broken drive train parts.

And to think I was considering pulling with you Gene!!!:hehe:

I'm not sticking up for the DHRA but if it was the NADM with the issue, it still should be handled professionally and not made out to be something it's not. We could all find issues with every pull but it's all about improving as you go.

Dhra handled there mistake of DQing me professionally as it could be, Very stand up on DHRA'a part

I dunno. I am not a competitor. I am merely an avid enthusiast. I just wish everything would be reconciled and the two organizations could co-exist. It would do nothing but good as far as advancing the sport.

Does nobody do this for the love of the sport anymore or is everybody concered about a payout? Just wondering..

I am glad you guys are having problems with the DHRA, that way they can just come over to Utah and Idaho and just do pulls here. We get to hook a couple times a year to win a plaque or $50-$100 bucks, we are just happy to get to pull. THANK YOU Dhra for putting on the the 4 pulls you are this year in this area. If you guys lived in a place where you have to travel hundreds of miles to get to hook, and knowing it wont pay for the fuel if you even win, and do it because you love the sport you would never b!tch again about this. I hope we get good turnout to the dhra pulls so we can get are on series here. Just be glad and thankful you even get to hook I know I am.:rockwoot:

You think your getting $50 or $100. Really all you get to do is have your picture taken with a big huge check that you cant cash

I will also chime in here. When we post up the cash amount to the winners (on our website), we pay them that cash the day of the event. Each winner is handed an envelope with cash in it that day. No checks, just cold hard cash, of course it will be Canadian money, but it's cash in your hand :D

wow I think I'm going to join nadm

someone send me a nadm sticker and a I love canada sticker as well!

we need to get orp in the nadm schedule also.

:hehe: its only a matter of time before you start thanking them for not hosting the event when you realize the plaque or the 50$ dollars is worth the B.S. that comes with it.
