Which headlights?

My recipe for awesome headlights on your second gen ram.

Crystal one piece Housings (Option one on your first link but from ebay)
HD relay housing LMC truck
Silverstar bulbs.

The relay harness is the best upgrade because it takes the load off of your weak headlight switch.

This gives me awesome light and combined with my walmart fog lights I have very bright light in front of my truck.

I would steer clear of the LED tailights and go for some smoked housings and LED bulbs with Relay Blinker Fix and a line of fire.
 
You got a link to that HD relay from LMC? I'm ordering my headlights from them and wouldn't mind that as well.

It is in the catalog. I am not sure of the page.

I think the part number is 55-9505. It is a 9004 Relay harness kit.


The headlights are cheaper on eBay and I had no problems getting them.

I will probably go ahead and order that sometime this week. I'm still wavering between which head lights too get. I mean if those projector head lights work better than the standard clear one peices that I linked earlier then I'll get them. I'll order the head lights before the rear lights. I'm going to call Garrett and see what he says about them because he has a set on his truck and if I go that route then I'll order them from him also.

you do know the LED bulbs that you just drop in are JUNK and don't light up a thing right? And the line of fire, Damned if ya couldn't put anything more tacky on your truck then that..

Ouch.....

I didn't buy my stuff at Autozone. I bought high quality LED bulbs that are brighter than stock not cheap. I was worried they weren't going to be brighter but they sure do look brighter.

What do you have against line of fires? If installed correctly they look fine to me??????? Mine is straight and stuff.

I would put my setup against yours as mine being more visible.
 
This was the first day I put every thing on. I have tweaked the line of fire since then. Led bulbs in everything from the third brake light down.

And yes I know how to operate a camera.

i have the first headlights posted with the black housings and hid and love them they have a good beam pattern in my opinion and look sick

lostnwalmart, do you have any more pictures of your lights? They look pretty dern sharp from what I can see. Plus your truck is red like mine and I'd like to see how it would look.

I tried to call Garrett today on my lunch break, but couldn't get through and I didn't have time during work to try again. I guess I'm just just torn between the two headlights still. Now I'm thinking that the black single bulb still like Lostnwalmart have wont spread a light beam quite as well and the all chrome ones.
 
Dave, don't get the projector style unless you're willing to work on them a bit to get them even decent for visibility.

Haloman, I've just never been much for the line of fire. LED's are always a different size, different color then the other lights on the vehicle, bulbs always go out way too fast. That one solid line across the entire back just looks completely out of place in comparison to the other lights also. It's just personal preference. I'm picky about everything "Flowing" well on my truck. These black tailights I just ordered are REALLY pushin it for me. But we'll see.

Check out the HID kit from puredieselpower and ebay aint that bad I have ordered more than one thing from them and it has always arrived just dont buy from shady people. The blacked out taillights from garret would look awesome on your truck too
