Who is pulling 5th gear

Thank you I guess i didn't think someone would actually think I meant take off in 2nd high then not only shift to 5th but also throw your transfer case from the high side to the low side going down the track then get back in it:bang! But yeah!

Haha,, Yah,, You didn't think someone would, and then I came along, LOL.

Just when you make something idiot proof, they make a better idiot kinda deal, LOL.

My bad. :hehe:

I have pulled 5th low with both of my trucks. In my Sliver 05 I pulled 5th low this last fall and this year at DPC. I did it a few times a couple of years ago when it looked like I could pull it. Back then I was at 640hp last fall I was 850 and this year I was over 1000 hp. That is with 35's, 373, G56, and dual and triple disk clutch.

Now I pull 5th low with my 6.7 tow rig a couple times this year so far. I tried 2nd a couple of times but bounced the rev limiter most the way down the track and makes no power when doing so. So I go 5th to keep the power there since we cant turn any rpm's with these things yet. This is all on a G56 with a dual disk 3850.

:hehe: No biggy I hope nobody actually tried that because they would be picking up alot of pieces.

And as everyone has said 5th low is very doable if you have a good clutch with these CR trucks, they seem to stay on top of the turbo very easily and your able to get out of the clutch faster. It's just a matter if you have the HP to keep the RPM's up down the track and I don't so I have to drop a gear.
