Looking good! What's the info/story on the Mustang in your carport?

That's My 1st car or Vehicle how ever you want to call it. I am the 3rd owner and I have owned it since 2002. I drove it to high school and it got to be to much of a money pit. So I quit driving it and it has been sitting since.
When I bought my 1st house in 2012 I moved it to my basement and it sat their till we move to the new house and its been on my carport since till I get the 4 post lift up to stow it on.
Plans were to 5.0 coyote swap it. However since my Grandfather passed I bought his 1988 Lincoln that's basically a foxbody mustang I will be swapping the 5.0 out of it(adding a Paxton to it as well) with a 5 speed but hey it may be 2045 before I get to start on it lol

Hell Yea they are I wanted a Red iron shop like my dads but i also wanted the entire shop covered in Sheetmetal on the inside so it didn't really matter but the price for erecting a steel building was insane

Cool story on the car. The way you seem to crank out projects, that car will be back on the road again sooner than you think!

Well Not to sure about that I should have already built my dad his 32' aluminum gooseneck trailer and my 95 Fummins

I had searched everywhere for the right color Treks for the trough drain between the hose and the pool. Finally found a Lowes that had the color I was looking for and Holy Chit this stuff is high 12 - 12ft boards and 1 box of screws with clips $400. but it paid off when I got them installed it wife was amazed how good it turned out and she doubted me LOL Shelby was helping me clean up

I got my post brackets and post then it was time to dig out some more Z-purlins I take a scrap purling and make a bracket and weld it to the main runners so it makes locating the cross purlins easier.

I finished bolting all the Z purlins up and added braces. Weather was getting bad later that day so I used my ratchet straps to X brace the structure till I have time to do cables. they also cam back and fixed the drain how I wanted it.

Lookin' good! That scissor lift makes it easy I bet. Wish I had one of them bad boys.

Looking good man. Very nice. I was gandering at the surroundings and said to myself, man that’s gotta be Tennessee ha.

How do you guys handle the ticks there? I came through this spring and walked my dog for 10 minutes and had two in me and 4 on the dogs.

If I'm going in the woods when ticks and chiggars are bad, I'll spray my clothing with permethrin and let it dry then put them on.

Repellent for your pets:
For pets, add 1 cup of water to a spray bottle, followed by 2 cups of distilled white vinegar. Ticks hate the smell and taste of vinegar, and will be easily be repelled by this ingredient alone. Then, add two spoonfuls of vegetable or almond oil, which both contain sulfur (another natural tick repellent).
To make a repellent that will also deter fleas, mix in a few spoonfuls of lemon juice, citrus oil, or any other safe essence oil for that may also repel ticks and fleas while also creating a nicely scented repellent but not be toxic to your dog. Spray onto the pet's dry coat, staying away from sensitive areas including eyes, nose, mouth, and genitals. When outdoors for an extended period, spray this solution on two to three times per day.
For you and your family:
In a spray bottle, mix 2 cups of distilled white vinegar and 1 cup of water. To make a scented solution so you do not smell like bitter vinegar all day, add 20 drops of your favorite essential oil.
Eucalyptus oil is a calm, soothing scent that also works as a tick repellent, while peppermint and citrus oils give off a strong crisp scent that also repel ticks.
After mixing the solution, spray onto clothing, skin, and hair before going outdoors. Reapply every four hours to keep ticks at bay, and examine your skin and hair when back inside to make sure no ticks are on the body.
