Manual VB overdrive trans??

I shift my trans from 2nd to 3rd with the column shifter and have the potentiometer in the cab which allows me to adjust the point where 3rd to OD occurs and to some extent the point where the converter locks. Ofcourse I also have a lock up switch but only usually use that during racing. I like the way it drives and with a 4x4 with the shift linkage on the floor I don't see anyway to get a large ratchet shifter on the floor there.
