Have a look at your engine oil and transmission oil coolers. My original engine oil cooler had been seeping ever so slightly. A couple of oil analysis reports returned with small traces of antifreeze. I never did pressure test it but looking back on pictures from when I replaced the original head gasket in 2009, my suspicion (even then) was correct. Replaced the cooler and the next analysis report came back with absolutely no antifreeze.

Couldn't have been more obvious but I didn't have a way of pressure testing it.

That would sure as heck be an easier fix than removing the whole motor. I'll have to take a look at that for sure. I appreciate the heads up. The transmission is most likely gona have to come out now
 
Absolutely easier! Same can be said in comparison to the head gasket. Although, the replacement cooler set me back almost $320 from Cummins. Still cheaper than a head gasket job and the parts to go with it. Although, that head gasket only lasted up until this past December. A project that snowballed into a complete rebuild LOL.
