6.7 cummins in a 2nd gen

No turning back now. Going to stiffen up the rear frame and make a pull hitch for it.

Things are starting to come together, got a spot at the dows shop and the cage is being worked on. Really tempted to back half it but also just want to get it on the track. After next year I'll really lighten it up.

Hoping to make a few pulls next year as well, most of the bolt on stuff is here once the cage is done I'll button up the axles, brakes, and suspension.

Cole made some progress and got the main hoop in the truck. Lots more to come.

Glad Diamond finally publicly released these steel ring land forged pistons before Kingspeed wraps up the engine build.

Committed to getting this truck as far under 4500lbs as possible without a front 9"

Fiber doors,bedsides,bumper
Lexan front,sides,rear
Fully gutted interior
Steering column removed
Coil spring replaced with coilovers up front
Dow pro street 241 case
Back half ladder bar

Possibly : rear 9" (70 currently) , Dana 44 front swap, power rack/pinion steering

I think the front 44 thing is going to catch on.

There was no shirt in my d&j box. :(

Surprised more people haven't tried it, since it's practically "drop in" I'm interested to see the weight difference.

I was a little upset I had to wait a month on parts to be finished for it, so Jared hooked me up...

Phil Taylor's maroon shop truck has/had a stock dana 44 and they are pushing around 1200 or 1300 I believe, but with street tires. I think they broke an axle shaft, but those should be easy to get upgrades for.

Ya Barney I believe is running compounds, big IH injectors and everything to make a lot of power. They upgraded to 300m RCV shafts, really nice stuff but expensive...
