it was a good time and i thought the grounds and the track were pretty good, but i dought we make the trip again, im just not much on the tech crew owning/building half the trucks.

any one happen to get a vid of the work stock class, preferably the green truck that pulled in 2wd, with 3 33" tires and one small tire lol

Nobody on the Tech crew owned any of the trucks that pulled. It wasnt planned for them to tech either, bailles just asked for help that day. I think there was 3 trucks with sjd stickers there... 3 out of how many? Not all of them were built at SJD either.

i think the only crew that could say they were half the trucks would be the roark group. they had more of there trucks there and pulling than any other that i knew of. if u had a problem with them teching, u could of went up to them and told them u want someone else tech there trucks. last night was the first time my hood had been popped in the stock class to make sure i wasnt spraying or running a big turbo so i think they done a good job. sorry u wont make the trip next year.

im ready for next season to get here. saturday night's pull got the bug back into me. i was kinda gettin down on pulling, breaking the last two times i pulled, or went to try and pull. i was in 2wd and was the bout the biggest rush ive gotten from pulling since the very first time. did i win, hell no. did i have fun, hell ya i did.
 
Had a blast!! I made it to all the pulls this season in Rogersville. Jim and the crew at race track made this event better and better each time. Great payouts, prizes, and fun! Thanks Guys! I will be back next year for sure!
 
Great pull gary and dan as usual! I wanted to come and watch but i was in a deer stand lookin for the big one haven't found him yet though.

I have some work to do this winter to catch the old man!
 
When i started to question the tech crew was when robs truck came through line and no one bothered to open his hood... and when i noticed steves truck didnt have a radiator.
 
Nice run Dan, Darren that truck is runnin strong now. My truck is sitting with the turbo off and in the middle of getting rid of the heater box and ac stuff for the switch to air to water and hoodstack.

Darren, the Illiana Pullers assoc, is putting together a 2.8 class. If you are interested i can pm you some info.

Yea I think this year they were just letting people hook. I know several in the 2.6 class didn't have protrusion chargers, which I didn't have a bushing, so I had to run a protruded. Some things in the 2.8 were bent a little also, but I think they bent them for everyone, not just letting one person do one thing, and then not letting someone else do it.

A pretty decent event at a pretty decent facility, with a decent payout also. Hopefully next year they stick to the written rules.

Baillees did a good job and St. Joes stepped up and helped also. Rumor is the track is bringing in more dirt for next year also.
