**The Official Winter/Off Season Sled Pulling Smack Talk Thread**

Bruse Balish (i think) won 2.8 at Numidia, PA last summer! With a 7.3!

2 former champions? apparently im chopped liver......

by far the most serious thread ive ever seen for a thread labeled "smack talk"

For this being "The Official Winter/Off Season Sled Pulling Smack Talk Thread" the smack is weak. If your trucks run as weak as your guy's smack - I'll have to put my 7.3 back into a truck and see you at the track.

I remember. That was good running truck 4 sure

Casey, I ended up going a different direction with my build, but my buddy loves the exhaust manifold. The crack scared him I think, but I told him it added character. :snoop: You going to pull for points this year, or more casual?

The guys that bought my chassis dropped a p-pumped 7.3 down into it - looks like lots of potential when they get the bugs ironed out. I have enough parts laying around to toss a truck together if I wanted to - and I have roughly double the fueling capabilities compared to what you saw back in the day - so it could be entertaining - but won't happen for me this year - too many irons in the fire already.

Lol, seeing a 7.3 winning a pull is like seeing Obama's birth certificate. :shake:

Winning might not happen easily - but if your truck is as weak as your smack - no problem placing above you. I wouldn't even need to set my beer down.

As weak as my smack? Lol I've never been out-comebacked(if that's a word) You'll have to set your beer down, cause when your front-end does the Ford shuffle, you'll need to grab parts to throw in the bed.

The Ford Shuffle? While I have had my fair share of broken driveline parts (Drivetrain Breakage Tour of 2008.... :nail:) - very little had to do with the front end - and I now understand what I was doing wrong. Understanding is way more important than knowing. Just like I understand how you know my truck will experience the "Ford Shuffle" :shake:

Exactly. It's no secret Fords are prone to the front hop and bow-ties either need to be ratcheted down, or a solid axle put in. You must be a part of the COTPC. Do they let you put duals on the front to prevent that now, since trucks that were factory with single rear wheels can run a couple or so. I heard next year you might be allowed to run tracks.

So what's wrong with single wheel trucks running duals if duallys are allowed in the class? No unfair advantage there...I ran a dually axle last year with a single wheel and bed, I suppose that's unfair too. But no worries, it'll have duals this year.

i will personally guarantee you that the top 5 maybe even top 7-10 trucks in the COTPC will go anywhere in the COUNTRY and compete with anyone and more than likely be in the top 5 again. The trucks that pull in that class are yes that good....so until you bring your P.O.S truck to ohio and run it in a REAL pull shut the hell up. you are officially a dumbass!!!!

oh and who cares about the damn dyno....what the hell does it matter. its a number. the thing i would worry about was puting it down on the track and winning points championships. thats what i strive for not a damn dyno number. like someone else said, the dyno is a tuning tool not a tool to get ur dick hard over and ramble about.

and for your official information the 2.6 class is a 900-1000 hp class

heres proof of just one of many that i know of...

 thanks for posting the dyno sheet Gainer. With water to air and a few other mods we got planned for this winter with next year's 2.6 charger we should be 1,000+ but like Gainer said a dyno is tuning tool. I'm more worried about set up and getting power to the ground. You can have all the horsepower in the world, but if you don't have the truck set up and can't get the power to the ground then your **** out of luck.

Why the big hp difference between runs? :nos:
Also, if you hit shift, it will capitalize your letters for you, it's pretty neat. What makes a pull real vs. fake?
Did I strike a nerve? I learned a long time ago if someone gets defensive there's a reason....

the difference between the two runs is the 784hp run was with a true 66mm 2.6 turbo. the 911hp run was made with a s475 with a 2.6 cover.
