I dont know where you got this from (not saying your lying or that I dont believe you), but I have recieved excellent service from Bob. Not sure what problems with injectors or ECM there has been (Im on a lot of forums and havent seen or heard of this). As for trannys, yes I can see people having trouble b/c Smarty will eat stock trannys for lunch.

Im now Beta testing the PoD and I can say its top notch and something that everyone should run.

As for them w/ Comp461, (let me say, he might be a great guy in person as I dont know him), but if he acts like what he types, I can see everybody in the diesel world acting this way towards him, giving him the boot in the ass. As he comes off as a pompus prick, but as he says "Im a knowbody in the diesel world" so who cares. :doh:

Im a nobody Too. Do a search on here and Cumminsforum and even DTR, What you find will amaze you.

As far as i know Bob and Marco, and comp461 could be the best guys on earth, but after reading how they handle there issues with each other on here, i want nothing to do with there stuff, i'll drive stock or buy something else.

There's a bit more to what you're reading online. You can't judge them by this post. Bob can be difficult to get a hold of but, that's typically not the case when someone has a problem. Bob is a phone call away and especially when there's ECM issues he is on top of it.

You can do a search on any forum out there and see the "pros" to the Smarty and the happy customers compared to every other tuner. You will also see that Bob just about posts to every Smarty thread there is which helps tell people the support is there. You won't find that with the other programmers. You'll be missing out on some great power thinking the way you are. That's your right though.

Man, this makes me not want a smarty programmer ever. For fear of the lack of customer service, and that i might be personally attacked like comp461 for saying somethin good about a product he has.
I hear that, Bob and Marco have had quite a few issues with cutomers for a while now, Now hearing of Injector, ECM, tranny and even engine issues on here and other forums, then to see Bob and Marco bash a guy who was just trying to boost there product a bit. It's clear that i need to stay away from those guys, and there products.

C'mon, really? Injector and ECM problems??? I think Bob and Marco have fixed more ECM's from NON-SMARTY owners than the smarty has ever (if ever) screwed up.

Anybody who has their product knows that the customer service on their behalf is about as good as it gets in the diesel industry, or any idustry for that matter.

I have never had a problem with you or your stuff, Im just stating the obvious between you (Bob,Marco) and a customer (comp461), and listing problems I have searched and found on other forums. This is Childish Really! Done Deal.

I love my smarty. Infact Mr Bob gave me a good deal on a "used" smarty, if it can ever be used....

The only issue I have with Bob was the TNT/R. I asked and asked and ask and asked. In the end got a little attitude back for my attitude and I did get the TNT/R and holly wow was it cool. All I would of liked to hear was "Marco is 3 months behind doing TNT/R tunes, you are #100 of #1000" or some to that extent. Instead all I got was ignored.

I was fully qualified with springs and what not to support this program so I didn't see what the big deal was. All these other "nobodies" were getting it even with out springs listed in a sig (tho, who ever believes a sig?)

Other then that. No issues to speak of.

Comp! Hey, COMP! Send a PHOTO of your SMARTY "booting up". It will say project X on the screen.... This will settle the "you have it or not" issue.

I have been doing a little running on the street with the TNT REVO R to get the shifts right. The added RPM is really the key, I had 3780 with the Diablo, but this pulls full fuel above 4000 with ease . I cant stand some people, that made me have to jump thru hoop , and go around to the back to get the tune , but I will tell you it’s the real deal, and the RPM needs to be raised from there .

Bob and Marco are EXCELENT people to work with and supply a fantastic product in the Smarty!!! I have no need to go into the specifics of the things they have done for me other than to say they both have gone above and beyond!!! I am behind them 100% and I believe they know that!!

I do not know greg (comp461) have never met him, never even talked to him on the phone. I do know this though, for a man that speaks like he is the god of diesel, he should have went to school longer. If I typed that bad I would have to quit. That being said, typing skills (or lack thereof) does not make the man, neither does his spelling ability. I just dont get his attitude, he is not the only guy with a fast diesel out there, and he is not the only guy out there trying to get faster. My thought is rather than bashing everyone that tries something new, why not embrace it, or encourage it?
I know for one that my truck just didnt fall into being a 10 second truck, it took alot of work and alot of trial and error to get it in the right direction, and I didnt allways look so good doing it. But in the end it is awesome.

I guess what I am trying to say here is that Bob has been awesome to deal with, and I make sure that everyone that I talk to knows that I am running a smarty on my truck. I know that it is definately stronger than anything that I have ran before.

ps and going back to some other posts about fuel pressure. So far from my testing, I am finding that the dr p box seems to help bottome end a bit in comparison to letting the smarty do the rp itself.. on the top end I havent been able to see a difference.

What I'm asking is...if Greg has the true TNT-R tune...wouldn't it either have had to come directly fom Bob or Marco ?

Yes the TNT/R is vinlocked and is givin out by Bob

I could an ECM swap being the most probable. Hacking the file itself would proabably get Greg in trouble legally.

Marco gives me full control of the /R tune. There is no other way to get it.

Greg sent me his vin number, its now on the list :badidea:

See, the thing I bet Macro is betting on is "security though obscurity". There are very few real 'hackers' interested in this area.... Maybe I'm wrong now? If Macro in fact never did create such a tune and is being 100% honest, then someone reversed engineered his data files and replaced the vin and name for Greg.

It's possible, do not say it isn't. I'm sure I'll never get a new piece of software now if this upsets Bob and Macro. If not, ohhh well. whaddya do?

HOW EVER, GREG!!! Show us a freaking photo of the Smarty booting up to prove this.
