Why is my truck cutting fuel??? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

I know the guy that did your cam is GOOD, but it has to be something with it.

I wonder if the cam itself is bad. Maybe a bad grind or something...

Yeah, but even a good dog has a bad day. I've done alot of injector swaps trouble free, but one day I dropped a washer from a injector & didn't realize it until my brother pointed it out. Thank God he saw it fall. Mistakes happen, don't care who you are.

That's the same thing I keep thinking. Maybe he just missed something.

I once watched a guy that had been running custom trim for decades do stacked crown from the top of a cabinet to the celling. And then realize his cordless drill was on top of the cabinet:bang:hehe:

if I read right you have 2 VPs, do the eletronics supprt twice the draw?
also when II fixed the cracked diaphram can they just fix the diaphram or do they redo the whole pump?

Read Justin's sig again carefully. It ain't his exact setup.

I think he is running CAT injectors now:hehe:

atually i do have 2 vps one is in stock location and the other is where the vaccum pump goes. However it took me a long time to figure out how to supply the injectors with two lines. Thats when i decieded to go with the JD injectors. Now i have 2 sets of lines each injector has a line coming from each pump. I had to install a rotar valve to keep the line pressure from going back into the other injection line. To some major thinking.

Now the whole electronic side of it is a secret. If i told you i would have to do something with you. :hehe:

It started doing it right off the line during the pull didn't it?
That was your truck at DHRA?
It didn't sound too bueno.

It did it when i let it hang 1st gear to long and it was hitting 3400rpms then it stopped as soon as it went into second and did it again when i hit 3400rpms again in 2nd gear. I had to let it have 3rd gear with the converter locked up so it would not sputter in 2nd to long.

I lost a lot of ground speed in the first 100ft. If you it would have sputter i think i would have pulled the **** out that damn sled.

could it possibly be something to do with your transmission? or maybe a bad ground somewhere?

Well i have cleaned all the grounds. I have also cut into the ecm and pump harness and grounded them directly to the battery. I am 100% sure its not the tranny as i have had this tranny in it for 3 years and it has been rebuilt with in the last year. I would really know what would cause this tranny wise.

I dont know what to do. Might try to get Zach a hamilton to regrind my cam to so i am 100% sure its good. I have no clue what else it could be.
