7.3 high hp build

From what I gather they didn't build the truck, though. Shieds got it built and then worked to improve the fuel output. Then it went back the shop that built it.

get a hold of Billy hes good guy......

Whats all this crazy talk about a p pumped dmax?????

for all the haters on the 7.3L

Congrats to Billy on getting stroked out in Diesel Power

Congrats to you as well! I didn't see Scheid Diesel's name in Billy's article but the word ''custom'' was used quite often. 90 % of the work done on stroked out was in a two car garage.

we p-pumped my buddies 7.3 not that hard but u better have cash 2 spend there an international 8cyl that used a p-pump we also used komatsu injecters 4 it

And when was the last time that truck hit the track(2005)? If its not so hard, then why isn't it out there kicking Wilkins a$$ like you want it to?

Ragged Edge
oh and something else Crower rods, push tubes, gridle and rockers we had Fink grind the cam we used

again, is it running yet?

Ragged Edge
Mack pump is to big to fit nice a p-pump is easier because their is a guy in ohio that makes the timing cover that and also a mack pump is alot more work to make it last an perform like a p-pump or just call cds and get a billet sigma if u got the extra 15k

No need for a sigma when its sitting in your buddies garage for the last 3 years. You know he could still be pulling it while building a p-pump motor, but instead it sits there anxious for its unveiling in the spring of 2012

why wast ur time the fuel delivery will never b fast enough with electronics! Or we would b runnin it

Really? too bad you gave up three years ago... you guys really have no idea whats out there because you never kept up...instead you just gave up

Ragged Edge
so if electronics are so great why aren't the pro stock and super stock tractors runing the electronic bullchit

When was the last time you saw a John deere 6030 with a computer system from the factory???

Ragged Edge
so do of any of u guys have p-pumped 7.3 's just was wanting to compare what we done 2 one of ur guys

What have you done? I believe that the last time I talked to the owner of that truck it had never fired yet...and I believe that our electronic truck kept up with your truck very nicely this year... We may have even got you by a few feet at Perry County

Ragged Edge
The guy that did ours is up by toledo oh i'll have to look his name up. it's a sweet deal but lot of work it comes with all straight cut gears his setup cost around 4k

good luck tring to keep up with something connected to your crank. heui is the worst one to boot!!!!

Can your P Pump do multiple injections in 1 crank rotation??

If you guys think that electronics is so terrible then why havent you proven us wrong yet. Get it out there next year and wax our a$$ with it!!! I think that its fine that you guys went that direction with it, but don't get on here and talk about how terrible the electronics are, when it seemed to do fine keeping up with your dodge last year... and you guys gave up so early in the game that you really have no freakin idea what you are talking about! P pump is fine, common rail...whatever, or stock electronics... who cares if its not out there on the track!

How is your build going? You got the tranny straight with the truck with the supercharger on it?

I'm gonna have to agree with the comment left on the video.

Nothing impressive about what I saw.

I guess I will let the dyno numbers speak for themselves then.

Not quite sure what Ford F350's you have seen and still be daily drivers.:what:

Plenty around the 600 mark in my neck of the woods, but 600 is pretty last year.

I still think the burn out video can be done with any 7.3 with sticks a drop-in and good tuning. Especially a crew cab long bed. Particularly light in the ass end.

How about a start-up video with the hood open, with a little walk around to enlighten us all.

Theres plenty of of pics of the setup on our web page if you still cant seem to beleive that this is for real and also on the same page you found the youtube video there is a startup video as well.

i just still dont understand why suddenly the aftermarket is revisting the 7.3L. by the way we need a video of the truck with the hood up
