July 18 Numidia PA East Coast Nationals

had a great time. finally got to see some of the bigger guys pull.good times n got some good footage:rockwoot:

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and most importantly thanks to everyone that came through the gate. This event was successful because a lot of people came to compete, a lot of vendors came out to offer product for sale in the vendor area, and a lot of people came throught the gate to see it all. A huge thank YOU to everyone that really made this happen. I was really ready to see a nice successful event in this area and I think we all accomplished a nice starting point.

A&A Auto Parts and Keystone Automotive were huge supporters of this event and put forth an excellent effort. The DTech Drag Racing series had 8 Pro Street entries, 14 entries in the DP Tuner Quick Diesel Class and I am not sure right now how many in ET total but a large field. It takes a lot of people and companies to make these things successful. Thanks to you all!

And for those that look for parts for your ride, please give one of our sponsors a chance for your business so NADM can keep putting on these events.

i was all over the place.. between drill dieing and borrowed drill dieing and loaning tools to anthony (XDP truck) meating people, watching, talking and general :blahblah1: i wasnt around much.

could have called my gave you my cell# lol

That was much appreciated let me tell you. What tools I didnt forget to bring I had loaned out. Then of course the ones I needed I left on the ground back in MO. What a great event. Very well organized, great turnout. Its was an extremely long drive but it was worth it. Geno never doubt me again, I told you I was a better driver than your old balls:kick:

The first run was a good run. Congrats on it Anthony.

I have no complaints at all. If I was about 9 gears higher in the profab I believe we could have had a very good run with the little 2.8 charger. As you stated, first time out and everything seems to work great. Looking forward to getting it on the track again this week sometime. Gotta get me some more profab gears though. :bang

congrates to you as well. good job on the shake down run!!!

that was your 14.4 drill i borrowed right?

Amen to that. Having that building on the pit side at the starting line is a pain. Have them move it. :hehe:

What was your opinion of the soil and track conditions?

Did they dig up native soil or was that material all hauled in?

LMAO!! I was thinking that on the way home from work...note to self..."stoopid place for a garage in the way of my pulling area...it needs moved..."

Native soil on that hilltop is ROCK. That clay came from about about 35 minutes away.
I liked it, it shed water well, when sealed, but held the moisture most of the day, and supported the sled.

We may add a few loads next year, and bring a chisel plow and rock hound, but over all a fine track.

Get used to pulling on a slight upward grade,, or start a collection up to add more dirt. You guys raise $15K, and we'll start. Thats enough material to take about half the slope out.:hehe:

Haha, you were 3rd party. I had borrowed it from the Diesel RX crew. Almost forgot BIG THANKS TO JIM LEYDEN. Sending unit was out in the truck. My gauge between my ears said no more than 300 miles with the load. My buddy said 400 should be fine. Well we ran out at 340... Well actually around 335 we coasted for just short of 5 miles up and down the mountains of PA. Then Jim stopped by. What a weekend. But well worth it.

thanks anyways

didnt run out of fuel the way home this time take it right?

2tones run...I am still in shock. I lost the bet, I gave him 3 feet, Monster Dave gave him 3.5. He was closer, so he won the bet..$1:poke:

To the guys I have heard say,"I cant come because I do not want a big event to be the shakedown run" Anthony just owned you all.:kick:

Great meeting all you guys that were sleeping at the gate(Bret,Will, and oldblue crew) and had a great laugh at a few locals that decided to have a few drinks with us outside the gates while we were camping all i can say is WOW!

Great job NADM and crew had a great time and will be back next year, really like the format between the racing and the pulling, for the most time there was always something going on to keep your attention.

The 1 complaint is i like to get up close to see the track conditions and watch a few trucks run to get a feel for the track kinda hard when your far away and from the pits you couldnt see the starting line, but that is a minor complaint for a first time event, great job and i look forward to making it to Indy:rockwoot:

I forgot to thank you for the steak jeremy. Those locals were somthing else and those boys in that blow and go duramax (breathilizer ignition, don't take that the wrong way) were a good time to. I was the one in the motor home.

Very good event for the first time there. Once it got going it ran smoothly. It was worth the trip. I will be back next year....Jeff

AMEN TO THAT! Anthony did an awesome job. Came off the line extremely well for first time in a truck like that. AND got her off the track under her own power with no problems! Congrats to Anthony and Matt Gilmore the engine builder of that truck. You guys did a great job. Now the learning curve of seeing what you did and adjusting to do even better.
