Finally got started

who can reset the pop pressures on our injectors at the best price?

the DDP 250's?

call and talk to lenny at DDP, tell him you are sending them in to be checked out and the pops lowered, he offered to do mine for free, but I ended up buying completely new injectors from him.

The TPS trick only works for the vacuum trucks. The 02 truck that I had heard about is running a vacuum setup for cruise - not the electronic fly-by-wire which I had been told all 02 trucks had (from another source). Sorry for regurgitating incorrect information.

so if i use my factory TPS on my p pump like pinion twister did will my cruise still work on my 6spd?

my early 01 i used the 12v tps in my 12v conversion and cruise worked fine i have a 02 5-speed (early) ill take a look at to see if the cruise has the vacuum line running to the canister like my 01?? the understanding when i done my 12v swap was that on the 98.5-00 they were vacuum and speed sensor controlled and 01 02 were electronicly controled and was why you had to run the 12v tps or rig up your oem 24v apps?? just know when i done the swap mine did not work wired up the 12v tsp per signal73 and never a flaw now.

I got a little bit done... Got the radiator and the intercooler out and pulled the timing case cover off.

Well guys I'm back from a week of fun on the rifle range. I should get started back at it tomorrow. I got the cam sensor adapter, oil restrictor fitting, and Timing tool set. I still need to find the pigtail for the TPS and get the cam gear swaped but I should be finished soon.

Well I got a little done today. The hamilton cam is installed and the pump is mounted. I need to go get some hose for the fuel return and I should be able to fire it up soon. I also picked up a set of Mach 7 conversion injectors.

Hell yeah! Your right around the corner from a living truck again! It's gonna feel so good once you tighten up that last bolt....:snoop:

These are the ones Don was talking about and not just with the pop's reset?

At first I didnt jump on them because I thought that they would be way too big, but I ran a set of CDS 7x.014's and I could control them. I know this pump will be alot more fuel but I'm hoping the cam will help a little. I'm also thinking really hard about going back to a big single.

Hey pete glad to here your gonna be up and running soon! Should run damn good once you get the 7's in there thats for sure. Did you get your timing set on your pump yet? Thats one thing im curious about on this whole swap.

Not yet, that's tomorrow or friday.
