I am seriously debating on getting a regular cab 6spd and seeing what it will do, but I can't seem to part with my MEGA. It's just too nice of a truck.

No not at all... just tired of always hearing people say "Oh thats good but your truck only weighs xxxxlbs" (Not necessarily to Caleb all the time but the dmax, drag racing crowd in General) Its not a fiberglass body, or a reg cab/short bed conversion, and its not fully stripped. Its a daily driven street truck with street tires on it going 11.92 with a 6speed manual. There was a little sarcasm in my previous post but I have no doubt with his driving and setup even at 7000lbs he would go 11s.

My sarcasm was not with out warrant when you actually suggest that even with 1000# more weight he'd still trap 113mph with this "setup", I'm assuming it's his current setup that ran this fast 11.9x. Now unless that flux capacitor is good for 100 more HP he won't be much faster then me.

As far as the GM's weight vs Ford or Dodge. It's true. they do weigh less. Others have choose to work with the handicap and some of us choose to poke fun at the anorexic GM's.
 
So why not put your truck on a diet, drop down to his weight and see what you run? Whats your best time?

Jason why dont you quite running your mouth and run your truck, im tired of you derailing all my threads with your "if I's" and "I could if", build your junk, race it and post your times, other wise get you and your attitude out of my thread, go post in the off topic forum, that the only place you 3800 worthless post belong!

Went over this in that other thread. no reason to rehash. However, From what you folks say about beating on these SBC double disks, I'm confident that next year, I won't be pulling 2.6 60's. :) that 700hp target for this year isn't to far off and out of the pictures yet. But the fact remains of all vehicles. Weight kills. I've killed 2 trannies thus far. This dodge won't see 11's in the 1/4 I'm sure, but I'd love to hang around a low 12, and a high 12 "taking it easy"

If your truck would run like your mouth then maybe we would really care what you think.

While your on here rippping Caleb , Comp, or anyone else you feel like, you could be working on your truck. How do you think Caleb got this far? It was not from posting witless remarks on the internet. He worked hard,changed parts, tried stuff. While you just sit in your swivelly chair and make excuses.

Go trade your truck for an import and save us have to read all this babble. LOL

I had a soap box written up. But your not worth the effort.

Who cares what my truck runs anyways, this isn't and never was about mine. Infact, I'm back to driving a volvo when I can anyways. Since when do you have to have something as fast or with a bowtie on the front to make constructive criticism? If I my truck was a 10.0, and I made the same comments how is it any different?

My point was to jab at Caleb for an anorexic truck. That is all. The rest was defending the rest of everyone diarrhea from the fingers. Not my fault.

And I double checked... I said nothing other then Caleb's truck is fast and a good job.. It's easy to keep GM's light. because their bodies never cover their frame rails, they skimp on the sheet metal.

Kinda like them skanky girls that have their thong straps showing. :)
