North Texas Dyno Day

There was an 05' that made 933hp on his 4th pull because he wouldn't listen to how to set his tuning earlier so It could of been worse.
 
Yeah I asked him what he was ruminants and he said ppe max and tst 9/9! Lmao! I told him he needed to turn that tst way down and lookie lookie what happened....
 
He is a bone head but the truck is very well built:rockwoot: oh here I go cheerleading for a truck I touched, um well maybe I built all of it.:cheer:

Actually...I'd check the valve lash and p rods because it sounds like it has something amiss in it.

I'm glad you said this. I rode in the truck and heard what I thought to be a thump from the intake side, but I didn't want to make the comment and it not be right and me look like someone who thinks they know everything lol
 
Well I'm far from knowing anything but what I do know is the last time I heard a pop out of the intake identical to the sound I heard from ferrel's truck it was a bent intake p rod

are those postings right? im not trying to complain or start any thing but i was the last truck on the dyno for the night the gold dodge with the concrete in the back of the bed and the ball sack on the hitch. i am almost positive i made 877 with nitrous on my last run but i didn't get a dyno sheet on the last pull i may be wrong but if im right and im sure i am i would have taken 2nd for the high hp with nitrous and 1st in the highest hp cr dodge i don't care about the prizes just the Credibility of it. if not sorry i said any thing


Brandon, If this is you, you and I both know that you were given more than plenty of time to get your stuff ready. The highest number I have for you is 857.57 If thats wrong, then its because I was deaf by the end of the day hearing so many trucks run.

i think u got screwed, my friend was telling me about ur situation and how they didnt count it, i think that sucks, and u should at least get a reward

We only had three trucks over 800 in Buda this year for the Big Dog, so congrats to all thats crazy power

His very last run was 877. I may even have it on video with one of the guys saying what the hp was at the end. Knowing Brandon hes not trying to star crap or throw a fit. He just busted his butt trying to figure out what was wrong with his nitrous to not even have his run count. Yes you did give him a HUGE amount of time to try to figure it out. So in my eyes no he didnt get screwed (as someone else stated). Anyways as Brandon said he wasnt worried about the prize he just wants the recognition.

im not complaining about the time i was givin it was very nice and appreciated thank you. i dont think i was screwed by any means unless that run didnt count. i just think there was a mistake made. but all the time wouldnt have mattered if the run didnt count. what about the red truck that sat on the dyno for at least 30 min hell if you would have given me 30 min i would have stayed on the dyno but to keep things rolling i thought it was better to get off and let other people make there passes.

for every one that didnt read in the beginning my nitrous was working in the beginning i made 807.90 the for what ever reason my second run was 624.15 no nitrous i lost the tps signal to turn it on.

i called speed tech and had them look and see if they had the dyno sheets still in the computer and fax it to me and i did make 877.14 on my last pull. if it was a mistake just say sorry and repost the listings and ill be ok

im not trying to wish misfortune on anybody but sometimes it take something happening to you for you to realize you were wrong and start looking at things differantly
 
Well seeing as you took the time to call speedtek and I didn't, I will believe you. I apologize publicly and humbly before everyone here. How many runs did you make once you got back on the rollers? I'm just trying to figure out where I came up with the numbers I had. The numbers I posted were the ones I had written down, which were the ones I (thought I) heard. Apparently the noise took its toll because even the numbers after the decipal point were off, waaayyy off. I will repost the #s if you so wish, but unfortunately, the prizes have already been distributed and for that mistake I am deeply sorry. I ask your forgiveness in that.
We were not expecting near the number of trucks and certainly not near the horsepower that was put down. Our preparation, communication and organization will be much better next time. I do appreciate you being such a gentleman about everything. Thank you for the clarification.
All in all, I hope everyonw enjoyed themselves as this was our first time to do this, but won't be our last......
 
i have no idea where you got those numbers but i fully under stand mistakes we are only human and they was a lot of caos going on. i except your apology no problem here i cant wait for next year. as i said before i wasnt looking for a prize just recognition kinda bs to some but to me it means more than prizes but they are nice too, but thank you very much for making the fix
 
I sold this truck to Casey 2 weeks ago....who would have thought that a 326hp truck would have the smokiest burnout of the day

well i got screwed!!!!!!!! i was feelin pretty good bout leavin with the lowest hp of the day, then this guy had to pull on there and put down 30 less then me!!!!! should have put my bag over the filter! lol:lolly:
