I spun a bearing on my D70 carrier so had to buy a new one. I got a limited slip and dont need the locker any more. Only has 1500 miles on it since new. Installs in about 40 mins no need to setup gears or re-shim. If you have an open diff this is the best traction mod you can do.

Im going to the local 1/8th mile track and I have a couple questions. I have a race VB I can lock the converter in first gear. My problem is timing the lockup with the green light. It takes about 1-2 seconds from when i hit the switch to when the converter locks.

I just put my trans back together and it shifted to 3rd a few times while cold but as soon as it warmed up it would just stay in 2nd. I had the trans air checked while it was out and it passed. I had the valve body (ats race) rebuilt professionally and it did not fix the problem.
