My friend has a 99 with a cracked 53 block. He found an 01 engine for a good deal. Do the 01 and 02 engines still have the tone ring on the crank like the 98.5-00's do?

My pyro has stopped working on my isspro gauges and I'm trying to track down the problem before I buy a new thermocoupler. Can I test the thermocoupler with an ohmmeter to see if its still good? And what value should I be seeing? Thanks Eric
