Big Triples

does using the inter cooler between compounding have better benefits than after?

I wouldn't say better benefits; maybe different benefits would be more like it. Ultimately it matters which turbo is in which part of the efficiency map at what time. If you have a turbo (or turbos) that are in a less efficient part of the map, then they will be generating more heat than the other stage. Also, there are other benefits that no one will probably ever think about....I'm not going to spill Pius' secret on that. At the end of the day, you need to be able to read compressor maps and also calculate density ratios before and after every stage and intercooler in the compound system to figure out what you are trying to accomplish.

Could say it again then. These are on the white H&S truck from desert diesel nats right?

68RFE isn't very happy...

Did you re powder coat the. Charge pipes? They look white in the video.
So, what did it run?

It's too bad that truck is so heavy, it would be a real runner if it was in a 4500-5000# stripped down race truck.

It sounded like the big turbos never really lit in AZ.

Primary's seem to take their time on the dyno as well....looks like they hit pretty hard at the end with some RPMs.

Pipes were originally built to fit with the H&S intake horn and single modified CP3. When that single pump turned out not to be enough, they had to go to duals and it required changing the charge air plumbing, so H&S had to build a new pipe.

First time to the track, for both the truck and the driver. Untested anywhere but on a dyno, still lots of tuning to do. With trans swap coming up, they'll start making some progress with it now.

Hopefully you guys can get the turbos to come alive a little faster than the videos with some tuning.

What was the trap on the 11.7? I'd imagine with all that air it's got some pretty wicked top end for high 11's.

That's 2000 hp worth of chargers. Do you have a way to put at least 1600hp worth of fuel to it? Reminds me of the guys running a 480 primary with 550hp fueling.

My plan was to run dual CP3 pumps but I guess somebody had a better idea after I left.
