If it had to break, it doesnt get much better than this.

Output shaft would be the only thing easier and without damage.

I have seen a broken intermediate out of a 47rh in a C&C dump truck. Broke in the same spot as yours, but it was behind a gas engine. No idea how they did that as i bought it as a core, but it was really surprising when i pulled it apart.

I thought the intermediate was supposed to be the hardest shaft to break?

We broke a stock intermediate practicing staging a truck. Turbo was a pain to spool and then at 15psi boost it over centered, jumped to 40 and a pop was heard from the trans which resulted in the tach being burried for about 10 seconds!!!

I call the transmission shop in town and all i get is "theres no such thing as a 47rh."

:umno:

Ill be heading to okc this afternoon, unless my brother gets one in ponca.

You can use an intermediate from 1994 through 2007 dodge ram pickups 47re, 47rh, & 48re, they are all the same intermediate shaft.

I got one by a guy in ponca. He seemed very knowledgeable even sent a valvebody with me that he wanted me to test. I probably wont use it though.

The guy gave me a governor weight to try in my transmission. Sonnax part #12802-01

Has anybody used this?
