Efi tuning for 03 cummins

Someone clarify this if I have an 06 wiring diagram can I switch the wires to the 04 harness pin location. Of course I have an 06 ECM and an 04 wiring diagram.

Yes you can certainly repin the 03-05 harness to work with a 06 ECM. You'll need to have the anti-theft disabled in the ECM

okay I'm about ready to get an ECM any pointers on where to buy an ECM from I'm going to buy a piggyback harness to swap all the wires over to the old four location from the 06 location on the ECM

biggest thing with a re pin is your dash wont work, and a few other things that some people tend to care about, others don't. Lee's harness and second ecm gets 99.9 % of it going.

there is only 5 wires you have to switch over from 04 to 06 ECM to make the truck run but if you have an early 03 with the box on the intake manifold for your throttle assembly it's a little bit harder.

Been there done that with lee set up took for ever to get in had to send it back in after long wait got it back again to not be right. Stopped replying to calls emails and facebook. Need less to say I got a kit that still not right. Cant lock out overdrive in truck in when hook to sled that kinda a big deal. With lee set up you can control the trans in a early 03. Need less to say after lots of phone calls etc I was the first 03 he did. I wish now I had went a different direction with truck.

Ran in to problems due to communication differences between the dash and engine. Was able to wire the dash and perform the functionality check verifying operation but tach, voltage, or CEL was not functional during idle.

Talked with a communication engineer from AT&T and Software Support Specialist for a local software company some information. No luck.. Apples to oranges tho. Still digging in my free time.

Any updates on getting the dash to work? Seriously thinking of converting mine over to an 06 computer.
Thanks

I just repined my ECM to a 2007 last night truck started so I am excited just ordered my tune from Anarchy diesel .the wait is over

How long ago did you have him do this? He told me when he came to do our install, it was the first 03 he's done. That was back in Oct of 2012.

Can you Elaborate on this? I am trying to decide on a harness sawp or a repin. I have a Early 03 in my swap. Are you talking about the throttle lever on the intake?

I don't know where he gets 5 wires from but it's not that bad I'd say more like 15-20 wires you have to switch around , all the injector wires and a couple others are in the same spot

it is only 5 the only difference in between the 04 is it it has two separate wires for the throttle position sensor 2007 only has one
.it is only 5 wires you have to swap for the engine to run you will not have gauges though on your powerstroke conversion that may be a different story because you still have a chassis cm correct

What are you talking about? Almost every sensor is pinned in a different location including the tps and can wires for the odb2

Where are you trying to repin it at. GET A schematics for your engine year and then cross reference it to an 07 ECM if you do have an early 03 motor with the throttle box on the intake runner of the head you do have to wire in a harness for a throttle position sensor but if you do not on like the late 04 that are the 305 horsepower an the 555TQ ,there is only 5 wires you have to do on it.
