Stiffed by Long Island DIesel!!!!

Here’s a word of caution to anyone wanting to purchase anything from Long Island Diesel Performance (now Diesel Technologies). I purchased a DR leveling kit from Jeremy at LIPD 5 months ago and he has yet delivered. It was always one lie after another…back ordered, it should have shipped, and it’s DR’s fault – they should have sent it. I tried my hardest to give the guy a chance to make good since he was a vendor here but 5 months…WTF. I asked to him to deliver it now or refund my money back, now he doesn’t ever return my calls. I’ve never been stiffed like this before and it really gets me pissed since he was a vendor here. Has anyone else had a bad experience with LIPD? It wasn’t a bunch of money but to stiff someone out of 700.00 is just a criminal act. Any suggestion on what I should do? Also, is there anyone in NY wanting to go and collect for me?

Can anyone recommend a vendor reputable vendor out there who sells DR’s stuff? I’m also looking for a good price on a Fass 150/180 fuel pump.
 
I sucks but lesson learned. I'm trying to find out how or who I should report this to. I was thinking the BBB and consumer something-can't quite remember the name.
 
Welcome to the club. I was so exited to take my 6.0 to get modded to my likings, and 2 months later it still doesn't run worth a ****. I can't figure out why the vendor/installer wouldn't want to make it right? Oh yeah, I don't get any replys or calls either.

A couple things...

DR went out of business (owner in jail on federal charges).
They (staff) reopened (new owner) and are now Icon Vehicle Dynamics.
And the 05+ 2.5" leveling system was unavailable for a while in the fall.


Sucks that he dropped the ball on this.



As for a reputable vendor for suspension products....Jesse at Farmboy Fabrications is who you want to talk to. He's a sponsor here and a good guy to deal with.
He can get you the Icon (if it's available now) or the Bilstein or a variety of other products.

I'm sure that may have been the case at that time but he has had a lot time to make this right. I tried calling him everyday this week with no return call.

JEREMY if you're reading this quit stiffing all these good people out there including myself and return my money!

today was the first time i spoke with jeremy in about 5 months... and he lied to the credit card company to win a dispute and get my money.. he charged me 4600 bucks, and only shipped a couple hundred bucks worth of stuff and disappeared.. i had cancelled the order before he ever shipped anything, and when i cancelled the c/c charges he finally sent a few things and told the c/c company he filled the order and it was all custom stuff...

then he got ryan casserly to lie to me today about building the injectors for him when they were paid for my spartan diesel tech..

jeremy told me he didn't even know that he was awarded the money from the c/c company and that he would call me tonight when he got home from work...
surprise, i haven't heard from him...

i'm about to ready to go to long island and take my money out of his hide if he doesn't stop dodging me..

jeremy I'VE TRIED TO BE COOL WITH YOU TODAY, BUT YOU'RE NOT HOLDING UP YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN ! ! ! !
 
I was dealing with a different Comp D vendor. Just wanted to clarify.

While you're over there collect my leveling kit money. LOL. What come around goes around and he'll soon get his.
 
For the record...I was in no way defending LIPD.

Just stating the facts about the company...any good dealer wouldn't charge you until the product ships and would have offered an alternative as opposed to the wait time.



As for the charges, as mentioned possession and distribution of Child Pornography.....
 
ok..first of all it sux he is using the name diesel technologies..thats what we were gonna use for our business name..oh well..

now..ryan and jermey are no longer friend ryan has be and still curtently owed money by jeremey so i know for a fact that he is not lying to you for jeremy..thats not gonna happen.

sin city, you are saying you were charged 2 times for one set of injectors? once by lipd and once by sdt? i am trying to understand that.
 
Wow...its amazing how many people come forward with their bad experiences.


On pirate, we have a policy that was just implemented with the vendors...if a thread is posted in the bad sellers forum about a vendor, the staff then notifies the vendor and gives them a 60 day window to try and make good on the situation. He must prove how he is at least trying to resolve the conflict...or hes gone. They dont want to be aiding shady dealers; which i like.

Bassn, i had an adjustable trac bar on order with DR to go to Alaska since October...all the way through the winter. With all of the mix ups and restructuring...after all that time, the order just vanished. However, i never charge a card until i know its shipped...therefore the customer never got too mad about it; and i kept him somewhat updated. Just last month Icon got pretty stocked up, and I finally called back and got one out to him.

Right now they have everything you need in stock at Icon, i even have the shocks here in stock...He should certainly be able to get you the kit now though, or at least your money back. (btw, legally they have 30days to refund the money after its requested or the product is returned.)

Call the Credit Card company.


why dont i see them on the vendor list?

As a parent....I would the F%^&R goes to jail and some big burly guy gets a hold of his A$% and makes in pay for this:soap:..Regardless of him being the owner of a great lift company...I lost all respect for him
