Ide like to know what u guys think. If anyone hasany input feel free to share. I realize it's the same build probably 100 other people have done already

Looks good! A lot of work and time involved in a swap. Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks 2micron. And to answer ur question kubota. I need a good tow rig and fun daily driver. Compression ignition mandatory. I've moved up from gas to diesels. Had a lot of fun with IDI's. Figured ide build a cummins. And I love crew cabs. I did a LOT of towing with my 74 ih one ton that I swapped a 6.9 turbo into. Always downshifting and babysitting gauges. Great engines but I like direct injection better.

Most recent update. I had the engine accessories setup with a hodgepodge of industrial and dodge stuff. I ended up going all industrial. I like the school bus off the shelf gm alternator over the dodge first gen alt that needs a kit or sonething to work without a computer
I also ordered a diamond eye 4 inch exhaust and I'll be integrating a Jacobs exhaust brake.

Truck is done. I'll be tagging it this week. All I can say is holy crap. It's ridiculous. I've only ever messed with IDI's. I can't believe how these things pull. In every gear. Even in 6th gear on the highway. U roll into it it it wants more. I definitely need traction bars. I had to be very smooth when what I really wanted to do was sidestep the clutch. To anyone considering this swap I say get on it.

Won't have a good video for a while. The hx35 **** the bed. Now in running a little h1c from my other 12v. I have accumulated enough parts to put together my wh1c

This is what starts it for all of us. Do not investigate compound turbos, gsks, or anything.
Nice build btw.

Nice build, I love the old bullnose Fords. I'm gathering parts now to build mine right now.

Well. Kinda hurt a little to do this but I didn't know any other way. I busted the electronic transfer case shifter apart to make it lever action. When ur this deep what's a $150 part?? Lol.

Heated up a spark plug socket and pressed it onto the gear then welded it. Seemed like the thing to do
